1. No. he is doing what he said during his campaign: re-directing efforts/resources to Afghanistan, because it has been neglected by Georgie-Boy, because he went fucking around somewhere else. So, yes, that IS "change".

2. If there is such a "bias" in the "media"....then how did a fucking idiot like Georgie-Boy get to be President for 8 years?

3. Yes, the media, st times, CAN be "biased"; this is why sensioble folks MUST look at ALL sources, and sift out what they PERCEIVE to be the truth. This is something hard-core right-wing fanatics can't get through their heads: they simply take their marching orders from the likes of Bill O'Leilly, Rush "I'm-A-Drug-Addict Limbaugh" or Sean "I'm-An-Ignorant-Racist-War-Mongering Fuckhead" Hannity or Ann "I-Think-Jews-Are-Imperfect" Coulter.

THOSE....are THEIR bastions of 'information'.

4. ".....but you and your liberal friends......"

Are you seriously all there? You're kidding me....right?

I see you're trying to convince the zealots against Obama. You can try, just coo coo for Obama Puffs, and will suckle on the teat of that little egomaniac rat of a man (Obama, not Canuck; for the latter I would have added the adjective "fat") for as long as they can. But kudos on trying to represent a small piece of logic to that which is Glumbert.

Now suddenly the reason I'm anti-American has changed from: "the kids in the US are on vacation" to a derivative subject.

So lets get to the root of the issue and explain why we now have a new anti-American subject.

It is all about you, the accuser not willing to admit that he accused someone of being anti-American based solely on his own anger at his own sense of personal inferiority, but manifested it outwardly as patriotic gibberish...

Here is the best advice I can offer in rebuttal to all of your anger. Please note this is stated without condescension, and with the best of intention.

I admit I was doing some testing in our previous writings, but I had to discover who you were, and for that I apologize. I don't know how you will take what follows, but I hope to offer a helping hand. I'm about twice your age, and and have some wisdom to offer you, if you will indulge me.

Until you have the personal courage and confidence that will enable you to admit you are wrong, when you are indeed wrong, you have closed the door to learning.

I don't believe I'm better than you, but YOU believe it.

Don't EVER let someone goad you into reacting emotionally on your belief that you are less than another, and try not to get angry, because it validates the challenger, and reinforces your own sense of inferiority.

The next time someone challenges your intelligence, accept the challenge with aplomb, and no matter how valid the argument just admit you don't know.

Once I could admit my own ignorance my entire outlook changed, my friends changed, my job changed, etc. Employers love honesty when it comes to knowledge, and the more honest you are, the more others around you are willing to help give you their knowledge.

I think you are seeking self improvement, and you are trying to break away from old habits, and perhaps from all the garbage we are taught as we grow up.

Life isn't easy in America. I know this is true because I was born and grew up in a small dark depressing mill town in Vermont. The system and society trained me to be a useful idiot, until I got out of that town, and worked my way through school. There is all that propaganda from the media, school, friends, and society. It is a wonder that we are not all screwed up. I used to have your anger and lack of self confidence, but I used that anger to drive myself to change. I started reading, and still do. I acknowledged and accepted my own ignorance, but realized that I could change that.

Then I after a great deal of reading, I realized that almost everything I believed, and was taught was bullshit, and was now subject to my own analysis, and could be changed, and the only person I had to be better than, was the person that I was yesterday.

I hope that that did not come across as patronizing, as it was not intended to be, and remember NEVER stop reading, and read everything.

After a number of years you will come to a point where you have so much knowledge in your brain, that you will realize the true and massive extent of what you do not know, as I do every day. Only the most educated are aware of how ignorant they truly are.

Best of luck.

Ain't you giving this puddin' head too much credit by thinking he might be aware of your "Occam" reference?

Well, that certainly was a long paranoid based explanation of a simple statement.

So, now I will explain...

This site undergoes periodic episodes of commenter idiocy that coincides with school vacations. Bored kids arrive here and post their vile insipid comments in abundance (When the kids in the U.S. are on vacation).

And over time the regular posters have learned that during these periods of time there is (no point in posting anything of value) due to the immature audience.

And as a result during these periods when the kids are on vacation, the rest of us take a vacation from posting on Glumbert.

There were two responses to the question never asked. One was "Yep."

...And the other was full of judgmental vitriolic paranoia in an onslaught of intense hate.

Occam is laughing along with everyone else.

Holy shit.

I guess "Americans" like YOU really hate the basic concept of disagreeing, preferring instead to fall back on that stupid fucking "anti" label (which, of course, IS fucking stupid). So what would you do with Pods? Hang him as a traitor? Burn him at the stake as a heretic? Brand him as an Enemy of the State? It ain't people like HIM that others might judge the U.S. by; it's people like YOU: the close-minded; the label-loving nutjobs;the morons who cannot separate criticism of the government (or policies of same) from criticism of a nation/people as a whole. To twats like yourself, they are one in the same. And THAT kind of irrational thinking makes folks like YOU out to be the fucking problem within your own boundaries.

What's next?

You gonna say we "pal around with terrorists"? You gonna start looking to see who's wearing a lapel pin and who's not?

Grow the fuck up already, and join the rest of the world in the 21st century, will you?

You're starting to sound more and more like a simpleton.

Its really funny how you casually leave out the last part of your original statement EVERY TIME you quote yourself.

Lets take a quick look back at what you said originally in all its witless glory, shall we?

"The kids in the US are on vacation, as I suppose you noticed. No point in really posting anything of value until gym class is in session again.

Till then...vacation for the rest of us."

Hmmm... thats interesting. That last part there... "till then...vacation for the rest of us." How come podman hasn't quoted that part at all? Maybe that because its the part of his message that has the fucking anti-american sentiments in it.
Man you really do watch the liberal news conglomerates with a fervor dont you? You know all their tricks. Only quote what helps your argument. Even if by which, you invalidate your credibility.

Okay... but lets break it down a bit further ... so that podman can't get out of the shit hole he's dug for himself.

Why does that statement appear as though it has anti-American sentiments?

Well first... It clearly sets podman apart from the American people as a whole.

"Till then ... vacation for the rest of.......... US"

Thats right folks. Slip up number one... it appears the tool podman really isnt all that handy, if you catch my drift. In your statement podman ...you say that the "kids in the US are on vacation" which alone is not incriminating enough, but you did the rest of the work for us when you later said that meant "vacation for the rest of us."

Okay so what do we know so far folks? Podman is not American. That sill doesn't explain how his comments have anti-American sentiments. Right you are... lets delve a bit further then...

By stating that when "the kids in the US are on vacation" it will be "vacation for
the rest of 'US'" (whoever "US" is) you insinuate that when the "kids in the US" are NOT on vacation ... the "US" aforementioned is also NOT on vacation. Leading the reader into a false premise. Because the kids in America being on Vacation has nothing to do with you yourself or "us" being on vacation.

Now that alone might not be a strong enough argument for my case. That's why, in my original post to you I said the following...

Oh and pay attention, watch how I quote the whole thing so as to not take anything out of context....

"Dont understand your analogy at all on canucks page. But judging by what you said, you have anti-american sentiments... and if thats the case ... I dont really care what you were trying to say."

Notice where I said... "and if that's the case..." That was room I left myself for possible error. Assuming that my presumptions about your original statement were wrong... then putting that simple phrase "and if thats the case" inside my post should have prompted you to simply respond... "no, those comments weren't meant to be anti-American". Instead, you solidified that I was indeed correct in my presumptions with your following comments...

"You must be American, of course, as denoted by your writing at a sixth grade level, combined with the inability to understand the words you yourself use, and then there is the complete lack of punctuation.

And ...Please if you are American, stop writing to the Canadian, because you are confirming the worlds opinion of the entire USA."

Podman... that was too easy. I really just didn't feeling like using my time to explain it to you. Now that I have, that wasn't so bad. I won't mind refuting your attacks on me from now on.
