Glad to share your appreciation of Bryson...who married an English lady, lived a while in merry old, then a time in New Hampshire, finally removed to England where he now resides...our loss, the Brits gain.

Brilliant style, wit, factual research. He is an altogether dominant writer in our language, IMHO.

Have read only three (four?) of his works...fortunately he still writes, so we all have nice stuff to look forward to.
