Cool ad. Not sure what people have against it. When we came out of the trees we embraced fire as a form of protection, the only animal in history to ever do so, and since then we've been in love with the power of flame. For the longest time we've sought power by burning things, until we figured out how to make the flame blow things up. Then we went crazy and power hungry, blowing everythin up and even exploiting eachother to do so. Only just now are we beginning to understand how much power we can get from sources limitless and clean, and that have been around since before we even got into the trees to begin with.
This is amazing. Exactly what viral video ad should be: stands on its own, doesn't seem to have anything to do with advertising... and then it all comes together at the end. Funny and touching.
Very clever. Probably the most obvious source of clean power after the sun. Our primeminister uses the excuse that thousands of windmills would be a visual blight on our coastline. If they were providing clean energy to Oz I would see them as beautiful symbols of technology gone right. And, because they sit high in the air, the ground they're on can still be used for farming or whatever. Better than a great ugly hole in the ground.

global warming ain't happening in Western NY, and it ain't happening in Vermont... anybody seeing week upon week of record high temperatures anywhere?? The hottest day I ever experienced was at my sister's (first) wedding -- nearly 30 years ago.

Here's a news flash that some can't seem to grasp - if it's happening anywhere on the globe then it's happening wherever you are because you're part of it. And NY and Vermont will know about it eventually. You are partially right though - overpopulation is the major problem. But given that we can't stop that anytime soon then going green will slow down the damage. 1 man living forever but using plastic and diesel will still fill up the planet eventually! P.S. And - like pariah said... overpopulation's only temporary --once the Bird Flu mutates (insiders say it's likely to...) we'll lose (my guess) about 2 billion people. The air'll stink for awhile, but that'll solve the overpopulation thing.
