Hasn't that applied to every US president since forever? Name one US president that would not snap a photo op with a US flag, and did not at least pretend to be religious? Obama himself has done it. Your fears are as usual, overblown.
But if America is to become fascist, and we need to have pictures of our dear leader all over, lets at least pick someone easy on the eyes.
I think she is a wonderful representative of the Christian conservative movement, and she should just be herself, and keep speaking her mind on world and domestic affairs.
