i'm actually pretty sure it's very possible. The other alternatives are very expensive, and most sharks dont mind coming close to shore, they just usually don't cause there isn't any food around. On many occasions sharks have attacked surfers with open cuts. A huge pile of raw meat is more than enough to lure a shark...in my opinion
Nobody cares what you think Canuck, honestly nobody. How much of your life do you spend on here trying to get people to listen to you because nobody in your real life will?
really? i guess that's why glumbert's visitor numbers have halved in the last 3 months. Don't believe me? check out compete.com. All the funny posters have left since his lordship Mr Canadian Angryman went skitz on us.
Please feel free to take The Dummy above, up on his offer. I think you'll find that the only ones that have left are: A) the Youtube trash; B) the ones I have smited with their own stupidity; C) the ones who have proven to have an inferior intellect compared to those such as yourselves; D) the ones who are boring, and have nothing to offer (in terms debate-content or even basic humor).
And just how the fuck could anyone find that asshole. That's your problem, you have a tough time discerning between fact and opinion (your A-D options above).
Mano, he's still convinced you and I are the same. Total denial.
Here is an example when a low life like backbone could have been usefull for shark chum.Thats what we do with child molesters in africa. It's a shame it's not done in north america.
Anyone here even contemplating that this WAS real for just a second???
I mean C'MON folks, get with it and have a coffee :-)
No movement of the shark's tail when he's being pulled along?
You only see the dorsal fin, not the tail which would have to have been thrashing like shit to get him going that speed...
Think you can also make out the line towing them around 0.45 followed by what seems to be the wake of the boat itself at around 0.57...
Nonetheless VERY well done ad.
Anyone heard of the sunglasses brand 'Notorious' by a company called Arnette? This is an ad for them using a famous surfer 'dude' called Jamie O'Brien.
The motoGP rider Dani Pedrosa, skateboarder Willy Santos, snowboarder Antti Piirainen and another surfer called Roy Powers are all used in other ads. The latter two haven't yet run
Awesome vid i dont think it is a fake and this guy has balls of steel do agree with the other posters little crazy and stupid but still gotta admire his courage
No for real!! This is so fake! its good, tho it would have been better if 50 seconds into it some surfer wasn't laying calmly on his board whilst 10ft away a Great White shark who's back fin was as big as he was goes by?? And if your argument is "laying calm is the right thing to do when in the water with A Shark, Let alone A GWS. Fagitaboutit alright!! LOL!!
not to mention the swimmers just kicking about and how much feet of water do you all think these to pals were swimming around in some of it was before the breakers, which I know some GWS have come in that close to feed,,,But this come on....Nigga Please!! LOLOLOLOL!!
Yes that was me! I wish! I think it's fake, though! But would be totally awesome. I don't think the shark could have pulled a human hooked like that for that amount of time, regardless of the size of the fishing rod.
... "The richest one-tenth of American families - those with incomes above $104,700 in 2006 - accounted for almost half (49.7%) of all income that year, according to economist Emmanuel Saez of the University of California, Berkeley.
That represented the highest share since 1917, higher even than at the stock market peak before the crash of 1929, says Saez, who studied income tax and Census data since 1913." ...
Makes you wonder when the present tax system will be overhauled, maybe when some-one from the lower tax bracket gets elected (never).
What to do with the $600 bush has given me, Oh I'll pay some of my realestate taxes,SOME.
haha, good one! circles...must be those eyes, they probably see as well swimming in the ocean with those covetous black orbs as if they were swimming in a bucket of cow shit.
lol..cept' you saw the fins...my proposal? probably a diver with one of those engine/propeller setups with handles used for deep dives and a fake fin on his back.
ah, not bad. like i said on one of the other vids (but so many new ones come in i can't keep up with them all) i took a break..well, from glumbert. actually i was working most of the time. actually, i like the heat. feels good (mostly because ive never been sun burned in my life, thanks to highly pigmented skin inherited from my mother's side of the family) anyway, im hooping to get a break to go swimming soon, too. anyway, i'll probably stick around for a while, and TRY to keep up with all the new videos.
suggestions for glumbert: get a few laugh-your-ass-off funny vids of chuck norris on here, we could use em' (especialy since the only one i found was about chuck norris promoting the use of Bibles in schools ...LAME.)
you know, you really should change the picture. i think it's more offensive then the "marine throws puppy..." vid.. are you reall so sad that you feel you have to express your anger towards helpless animals?
me, just exercising my freedom of speech. wait.. i just thought of something..we have freedom of speech in america, buh.. well, does the internet count as American territory? it should, lol! that would be political squalor... ho ho..
I've dived with sharks before, most of the species aren't interested in humans, we are too big. (Although that did look like a bigger shark than I've dived with.) But they'd take the meat, although they tend to stick around while they eat it, hoping you'll give them more. (That is why you feed them in the first place, if you don't feed them, they tend to get bored with you and leave: You saw the piece about the stray dogs of Moscow, the sharks are much like that...)
It is the camera angles and the boat wake that make me doubt that this is real...
Complete shens. There is no 2nd dorsal fin. The shark isn't swimming right. No side to side motion at all. No jerking features when the shark took the bait. It would have ripped that fishing pole out of his hands. There are about 100 reasons why this is shens.
Ok, first of all the guy casts his line out about 15 feet from where he is and begins to reel it in. If there were any hungry sharks that close to shore they would have gotten that surfer when he was thrashing around swimming to his board. Right at 30 sec. there is a hidden cut-away; when the person says something like "right there!!!" the camera blurs for a moment as if the person holding it forgets what they are doing while yelling to their buddy. Meanwhile, the rest of the video is well edited from several angles. Why would the blurred part be left in when the rest of the video is so professionally edited? How could anyone know where the "shark" would go and post a camera person so far down the shoreline where the guy finally lets go. At 55 sec. there is an overhead angle where you can clearly see air bubbles (from a boat motor) and a wake in front of and several feet to the side of the fin. Finally, why would the surfer come ashore and ask about where his fishing pole was when he just let go of it. and let the "shark" swim away with it, 15 seconds before that?
I really like this video, it is very well edited and really makes you feel like this was an actual event, at first. Upon closer inspection, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to be able to see that it is a setup.
Redraxill said, "%^$#@$canuck you seem to have a few anger management issues there mate...
might want to talk to someone about that when you get a chance bra.
All surfers are pricks, but bartmanbart is a bigger one. Think you're smart? Don't patronise us with your smart-assed bullshit. Of course it's fake you dummy.
Go get a life, and if you can't do that, throw yourself to the sharks.
