Nicko man, what you must understand is that I know a great deal about videos - how they're made, who stars in them and what their meanings are.
We spend long hours, days, weeks even here in Canada without much daylight, crouched in front of our computer screens, analyzing videos on a huge number of topics.
As a result, I feel almost uniquely qualified to comment on the things on Glumbert, and it is my duty to share my insights with others. I'm not pathetic, I can assure you. Ridiculous, perhaps. Insane, maybe. A dribbling buffoon, perchance. A fully paid-up member of the snowshoe makers union, absolutely. An astute commentator on international affairs, certainly!
But pathetic? Oh no.
In all my years as a caring, conscientious law enforcement officer, I have never once called a fellow human being pathetic. Slimeball? SURE! Terrorist? ABSOLUTELY! Goddam motherfucker? HELL YEAH! And that's just the parking violations.
Pathetic is the worst insult you can attach to a fellow human being. For instance, George W Bush is PATHETIC. Donald Rumsfeld is PATHETIC. The Aga Khan's butler is PATHETIC.
But moi? Non, non, a thousand times non!
This is an easy call.
