Maybe I've seen too many movies, but wouldn't a serviceman who tried to stop something like this happening have to be pretty brave? Isn't it usually the case that soldiers/lawyers/police - in fact most professions - tend to stick together and the good guy who reports misdoing gets a really hard time from his colleagues? I mean, like the man said "nobody died" in the tank crush incident. Would a soldier really report it to his superior officer?

Arse for the most -part you are right we do try to stick together, but there sometimes is that guy who dosent like someone and will look for anything to screw him/her. It may not be the "good guy" who reports it at all it could be what we call the blue falcon(buddy fucker). Even so it just depends baecause someone is always watching. Also it doesnt have to us that report eachother it could be one of the locals who reports it. If that happens and none of us reported it considering the higher-up's always know where every unit operates what area each unit controls. So if that happens they will find out who was there at that time and depending on how pissed they are they very well could start to crush guys careers.

thebug, I agree, this has nothing in common with political ability. They are really reaching here. I also have no idea who this guy is, and have never even seen his name before, (shows you how much I keep up with politics I guess), but how or where or when he transported his dog doesn't really reflect much about his personality or ability a representative. As he said, it was probably preferable being on the roof to being in the car with seven other people. The dog at least had some quiet time. I'm sure Mr. Romney wished more than once during the trip that he could trade places with the dog.
If this is the worst they could come up with to downgrade a person, it isn't working. Show us, the American voting public, how or why this person would be a good or bad candidate for president. Don't waste time with stuff that makes no sense, or has no bearing on political issues.

I don't care about his infidelities. I really don't. That was Hillary's concern, not mine. I think they should have just let Hillary deal with Bill on that one. riza, I must admit, I was a little confused. Thanks for clearing it up. I did go watch the dolphin vid, (and when I saw no "rizamoon" over there I was further confused). It was terribly disturbing to watch, I had to stop actually. I'm not a vegetarian by any means, we all need to eat. Is there any real humane way to kill animals so we have food? I'm not being flippant, I'm asking a legitimate question, if anyone has any ideas. We either have to accept that other creatures must die so we can survive, or we need to stop eating anything but salad greens. Not many Americans would consider eating a dolphin, but in other parts of the world, it is commonplace, no more is thought of it than Americans think of beef. The WAY the dolphins are killed was awful to watch though. There should be a better way.

Over several years many prostitutes have been disappearing from East Vancouver. There is a small area (about a 4 block radius) that is our 'bad' part of town. Not much was being done about these missing women. Well, I can't recall the specifics that lead up to their remains being found (well bits and pieces of their remains) on a Port Coquitlam Pig Farm. They found remains and/or dna samples of about 40 women. In Robert Picktons trailer, freezer and othe places the heads and hands of some of these women were found. Well, his trial finally ended today. You would think he would be found guilty of 1st degree murder, however, the defence tried to make it sound like it wasn't him. In a weird way there wasn't anything that proved absolutley that he did the murders. Oh, sure, I leave to go to the bathroom and everyone else answers.

camuck, there are lots of people on here who are clearly not morons. There are many posts that are intelligent and well worded, funny, satirical, thoughtful, and show a willingness to get along, even when they don't agree about everything. You quite often attack anyone for any comment, whether it's good or not, and some are resentful for that. That's your game, you enjoy it, we understand that. I would tell you to ease up a little, but that isn't what you want to do.
