Not much threat from this robot to take over though, it is not automotivated, it is remote controlled.
But the fascinating thing about Asimo is that it is a bipedal walker with dynamic stabilization, that is it really walks like a human, stabilizing its position by flexing the joints of the legs and hips instead of having a low center of gravity.
Dammit you crack me up, but poor infinity. He may deserve some of your jabs, but I think a few others (including myself) are just as deserving of your stinging wit!
OK, I just have to bitch....go to my worthless piss-ant bank, National City, the doors are closed at 1 PM? WTF! no reason why posted, drive 15 miles to another (that's $4.22 in gas) closed too! Go to the ATM, guy in the car at the machine starts screaming obscenities, gets out and tell me the thing went dead, kept his card and he's had it with this bank! I pull in and the screen is blank, OK I need cash NOW! I have a kid waiting for some loot (I pay my temp help with cash), go to a TCF bank ATM, to get some money and they want to steal $2 to do the deal. Later on, I check my account info to find that worthless bank National City has stolen another $4 for using another banks ATM!
Does anyone know of a bank that is honest and keeps their hands out of your pocket, because I'm taking my business elsewhere! Maybe it's time to take my dearly departed Grandfathers advice "don't trust banks, keep your cash stashed at home", he survived the Great Depression (and became very wealthy) because of his "philosophy" on banks!

At our company, everyone's been so worried about creating "paperless trails" that all our paychecks are direct deposited. Then how many of us have bills that are automatic payment? I don't even need checks to pay bills anymore, it's all done for me. Instantaneous Society~~~ that's what we've turned into.... we've created our own monster.
