I would have lol'ed if someone replaced my name with shanequa or some other stereotypical black name, maybe put my favorite food as watermelon and fried chicken.
for some the end of high school is the end of education, the yr books are for those completing HS and maybe the end of ED, why should someone think that changing names would not be hurtful? Okay, I understand being upset about being upset with them putting a racial stereotype name; that was wrong, and the school was right to apologize to those people. But getting upset and refusing to go to school because they put you down as a janitor?? Give me a break!
Serves them right for having a "black student union" instead of just a "student union". Blacks have fought for the last century to fight segregation, yet go out of the way to further segregate themselves.

I tried a logical argument. Let's try this: make all niggers janitors so at least they'll show up at school long enough to collect unemployment one day.
Niggers yeah, but not regular black people. Unfortunately most black people are niggers and the ones that aren't, like Mr. Cosby, are shunned by the black community because of it. I just don't understand how anyone can think of "ghetto" as something positive.

Although some of us can laugh at ourselves and accept our differences, were simply not all born the same way and some of us can really be hurt by racism.
