With such a negative view on human life how do you justify your life?
And without humans who would there be to enjoy this beauty? As far as humans know we are the only intelligent beings on earth that would ever be able to enjoy this type of scenery. And if no one is there to enjoy it, it serves no purpose in being beautiful.
Most of the people who worked with nature instead of against it were pushed/killed off of their traditional lands. Its not like Humans have to be so wasteful it just so happens that the ones that are win the wars and set the policies.
I honestly think that humans have done more damage to the planet than we have good... and i dont need to justify my life, i am an animal whose purpose is to reproduce like every other animal... i just wish we could accept our moral responsibility as the earth's most intelligent and able inhabitants to try and fix what we messed up and preserve what we haven't yet...
amazing! *added to favourites* yeah i loved that sound track also, can anyone give us a title please!? As for aceinyoface's unthoughtful comment.. i think you mean the modern business corporations (inc. governments) are mainly the ones to blame for the continual destruction of our precious environments, not at all gernerally speaking all of human life as such. There are still people out there that care for such things and do thier best to look after what they've got, i just hope the rest of the world realise how short a time we all have if there aren't any drastic changes made soon. In my opinion, sadly, i don't think Earth will have a chance against corporate greed.
Typical. You purchase a "corporate greed" computer, powered by "corporate greed" energy to surf a "corporate greed" internet to a "corporate greed" web site full of nothing remotely Earth-saving, yet you manage to excuse yourself from all complicity. Either that, or it was a good night at the pub. Cheers.
Baraka - I saw a clay-mation time-lapse of a "Stone's Life" (or something like that). When the stone moved, time sped up accordingly (stones take a long time to move). When something like plants, man or animals moved, time slowed to their pace. Man's existence was brief, but it showed an entire city being built, decay and taken over by nature again in a matter of seconds... It is a long shot, but I though you might know where this "time lapse" might be on the www.
What a wonderul video. Brings with it a sense of peace that is lacking in every day life.
As for those with the negative attitudes above; your hateful attitudes pollute the world in a way that is hard to describe and no better than those you attack. Your words are cutting and harsh. What happened to you to make you so dark.
I enjoy the sense of peace brought on by a bunch of men stumbling up a mountain, disturbing pristine locations and the quiet days an nights, to get "cool" shots, leaving being them piles of food, packaging, soiled toiletries and batteries.
Und, do you mean "... hard to describe..." or "... I have such a weak command of my own language that I will insinuate your harshness by indirectly suggesting I have a powerful vocabulary, stymied by a mental tick that blocks all non-motor thought..." Pls. I have little time to spell words completely, much less quell my own anxiousness to read why you can not unleash your super-sized-lexicon on people behaving badly, or why you think clowns hate you.
I remember this video when it first came out a over month ago. And also not commenting on it in fear of what people might think. How sad of me. The video was very cool . iraq.
