I agree, the spoiled rich kids waste a lot of money. But if you want government to redistribute their wealth you are wasting your time and our money. The spoiled rich write the tax laws that let them keep their money while the struggling working class has to pay thousands a year in taxes. That way the working class can't get ahead and continue to be dependent on working for the rich. The rich has successfully exploited the poor with socialism, kind of like political judo.
I have a feeling that MTV is doing a lot to destroy this country's soul. The same goes to people in the music industry. Thank you, LA Reid, for doing your part. Sadly, it's clear you haven't done much for your son.

I heartily disagree. Lavished with wealth? Yes. Spoiled? I didn't really gather that from him. He was always very thankful and pretty polite and nice to everyone, not like most of the spoiled brats featured on this show.
His parents worked hard for that money and wanted to make his 16th birthday a great event, and they did that with the money they had, like almost any other parent would do. They just happen to have a lot of money from incredibly lucrative jobs. I was actually pretty floored at how congenial his disposition was.
Could that money go to charity? Oh sure, but the money you or I spent on the computers we're using to access the internet could have been, too.
I feel so sorry for this kid. He thinks that is fun? Paying a bunch of people to scream when he walks in? That's so weird. I vote he'll commit suicide within 10 years.
His friends (and probably the entire MTV youth) seem to be worshipping him because he's loaded. All that money and he's spent it all on a tacky pimp-like image. I know he's only 15 but he needs to educate himself. But then when you're guaranteed to inherit millions who cares about substance. Hi Paris.
with that money he should have used some to get himself some liposuction everywhere on his fat ass, and done something good for other people around the world. this is sad.
This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever been witness to. I can't believe this kid. He is destroying our world by example. Half the music his dad represents is rubberbanding the same message. If I had 1/10th the money he has, I would be doing good with it, not wasting it on red carpets. He wants a sweet 16 party, but I bet I had a better time at mine, at my house with my true friends, instead of strangers getting a glimpse of big money, and human waste.
Who care's.... it's their money they will spend it as they see fit.

I usually really hate spoiled brats getting money thrown at them, but this kid had a cool birthday. I feel that everyone deserves to at least once in their lifetime get their 15 minutes of fame, and be treated just like a celebrity superstar. The girls alone made this party straight popping, but everything else added together made it amazing. This is the first, and probably the only "Sweet 16" Party that I feel was worth it.
