No, I think he is mocking the fact that she flew from Texas to her home in Alaska, while in labor, (which is illegal by the way,) with a high risk baby, and yet calls herself pro-life. She may be opposed to abortion, but she seems to have no trouble with infanticide.
OK, checked it out, not "illegal" to fly, but against airlines policy due to the raised possibility of an emergency, not to mention asking for deep vein thrombosis, higher levels of cosmic radiation and increased stress. But hey, if you don't have a personal jet anymore, how else ya gonna get home!
Seriously, what is the point of a video like this? Edit clips and condense a two hour debate into a few clips, so as to portray McCain in the worst possible light? Hard hitting information, let me tell you.
Hey C-
You like polls, right? You imply that polls vis a vis popularity are the way to go, right? Because, not only are they accurate (!?) portrayals of where a country/people/movement is going but that they indicate something deeper; someone in the minority of an opinion poll must be somehow "out of it" or no longer "in". Please explain the poll results of the recent Army Times. 3-1 for McCain. Interstingly, the surveyed had Whites 76-18 percent for McCain, Hispanics 63-27 percent for McCain, Blacks 79-12 percent formObama. (Wait, race is not an issue...ignore that.)
I know, I know...voluntary poll, not completely scientific. But, neither are ANY of the others. So, just fodder for fun.
Polls are a nifty tool...and CAN display a pattern...IF most polls show the same consistancy.
An insulated poll within the confines of the Army don't cut it, and is NOT indicative of a potential trend amongst the general population.
It's kinda like taking a "poll" within Canada, and asking the folks if they like hockey. The numbers are gonna be predictable. Plus, your implied argument that Obama's core support group are African-American (like Colin Powell) is way beyond ludicrous.
C-...thank you. The military poll was NOT to be extrapolated to a larger population, as it actually stated. It was to poll the military about what the military thinks. The results were interesting, to say the least.
Who is Obama's core constituency, since there has been no national election yet AND he has only been the experienced and qualified pol for around 2 years?
I'm not sure if qlanettint was mocking Streamlined or Canuck there, I could interpret that too ways. But "Hitler calling someone an extremist" I think is more mocking Canuck.
comeback, that was inappropriate to suggest Obama has cotton-picking skills purely based on his skin color. I'm sure the only cotton he's ever picked came from an aspirin bottle, like the rest of us.
When the GOP (and MOST) of their supporters give me reason not to think they're a pile of prejudiced, out-of-touch throwbacks.......I'll reconsider my views.
But to label someone a "bigot"....against a POLITICAL party?
ladies and germs the world nations want Obama, the world terrorist groups want McCain.
I think we should all vote for the terrorist choice they want everybody to go back to when the church told you how , controlled you, and fucked with everything to make sure everyone bowed down to the will of GOD.
God the white male.
please and the world was made in 6 days.
