I flew the F-4 over northern Laos, north Vietnam and (shhhhh) China...came back more than once with a tree limb caught between my centerline and fuselage...I was all of 28 years old and lived a lifetime by the time I was 30...it is every bit as exciting as it appears...now you know why fighter pilots swagger...you would too wouldn't you?
