It's really pretty common for kids who spend all their time listening to rap and watching MTV. Think about it, if you went around all day with your ear phones in your ears pumping your brain full of that garbage, what do you think would come out? That's why I have to laugh when people ask, "What's wrong with rap?" If someone has to explain it to them, they probably have already been damaged by it.
At the same time, who hasn't looked at an old video of themselves trying to be cool and laughed?
