Yeah... its fake... sigh.... why would it be fake? its from IRAQ... videos of explosions dont have to be fake, there are plenty REAL ones. that one was planted below the asphalt which is good cuz it didnt hurt the convoy.
Billboat! Welcome back - yep, there's a thriving little cloning cottage industry going on!
In fact there's also a recent poster not even using a clone name, simply stating they were another poster using an alias! There're some fucked up people out there bro!
C - you're right. It kinda makes one feel a bit like the Pied Piper with the rats following wherever he goes!
Isn't it time that soldiers earned their paychecks anyway ... you can only train for so long and play so many simulations. All in all, it's a pretty cushy gig in the military.

Getting hit with an IED is not "earning your paycheck" you fucken dumass. To be real honest, all of the servicemen that I know to include myself do get sick of the training and simulators but what we really want is fight these assholes face to face. Nobody wants to be blown up by someone they can't see and shoot back at.
Yeah, luckily they were off to the right. If they'd planted it right there probably would have been injury... and the ever so high chance of ambush directly after.
pity mako and most of you werent hit by that. thatd stop you talking such shit. even if it was just your balls that was blown off itd still be worth watchin. i used to liek you mako but now i gt a real man. hope you all die slowly.
f*off, You are a genius. I will die slowly... probably take me 40 to 50 to die of this thing called life. You should write a book of knowledge: i gt me real mens an u die slow.
(oops, clicked the wrong button. stupid is as stupid does)

Am I you? Some chick says so. Says we splel siht wrong. Probably f*off's favorite carpet muncher. Anyway, I thought we were slagging each other last week, so I shall stop being friendly now...
Most impressive, and, frankly, quite terrifying. The sheer power of these devices when seen first hand is awesome in the true sense of the word. The men who must face these sorts of incident on a daily basis in a combat zone are worthy of our respect and admiration, no matter what our views are on the rightness or otherwise of this war. But, on a lighter note, one couldn't help but feel a faint thrill when the earth erupted like a mighty orgasm, the spontaneous cursing of the young soldier adding to the moment of raw excitement, his boyish tones only adding to the sense of relief that the near miss provided. Eeeeeehhhhhh! Orrggghhh! Vvvvvvvaaaaaaah! Ah, the diversity of sexual pleasure is a wondrous thing. I am running out of handkerchiefs I fear.

In the absence of Cumchin letting us know what she thinks the real figure is and simply making childish comments, I'd probably veer towards something closer to the figures Pod reports
I'll use the Lancet's survey results (an amalgam of a variety of sources). It is internationally seen as the most accurate estimate of deaths cause by Bush, and his buddies, along, of course, with the insurgency that their decision to invade and occupy unleashed
Deaths have accelerated since 2006 when it was first released hence they are likely to be close to the levels Pod heard on the radio.
Guess what really hits home is that this is an internationally respected medical journal, many of it's contributors no doubt having taken the hypocratic oath, and therefore rising above the petty politics of denial which Cumchin seems to like to wail about.
The radio stated 1.2 million, Chum wants 3.3 million, and this article states : We estimate that almost 655 000 people—2·5% of the population in the study area—have died in Iraq.
Any way you slice it, the war has brought real killing to Iraq, numbers that Saddam put Saddam to shame.
It's a totally phony number, like Major whatizname saying 30 million slaves died on the Atlantic crossing. Do the math...which even an 8th garder can do...but also go to a responsible site for counting. Numbers vary, but that about 10X too high. Talk about flatearthers.
Tweedle Dumb, I have it on reliable professional sources, T-Dumb, it's closer to 75000, but do your homework, go beneath the first paragraph of a study. I won't show you how. Moreover, YOUR GUYS, Takfiri-Symp, not mine, killed them. Spare me "the it's because we're there" mantra. It's because YOU"RE who you are, i.e, a free man, that they're doing this. When I pause to think about that, that all this blood letting is for useless pieces of dung like you, for a fleeting moment, I think may AQI has a point. Oh well. POD: Carry on, once the math got beyond your mulitiplication tables I knew you would be in trouble with the calculations. Point is, if it's worse than Saddam, why are Iraqis so for it, and only the stay-at-home gringoes with scars where dicks used to be against it? (Excepting your mothers of course.)
There are NO single reliable sources, that's why it took the Lancet to pull together as much of the information as it could from the variety of studies caried out.
Even then it admits (if you'd taken the time to read the article my little ADHD sufferer) that there can be error, but the error within this is for certain a damn site less erroneous than your supposed 'professional source'. Silly girl.
Chum - Explain my "Calculations", and my "Math". I did none, I just quoted the Lancet article, which I guess you did not read to the end! Hmmmm. Ya did not read the article at all did you?
Anyway, why do any of these high numbers bother you so much you are willing to deny the count given by the Lancet?
the war is bad! it kills so many lives...noone should die! it does not make anything better, why does noone see that? give every soldier a joint and there will be no more fighting! ya maaaan...hahahah
peace in iraq peace everywhere stop the fighting start the lighting
If you are talking about the small black dot that appeared on the screen, on top, roughly in the middle, that same dot appears at two other times in the same place. I think it is more likely a problem with the footage than a mortar.
If you are not talking about that, and are instead talking about something else, I apologize.
I see what you're talking about, wolf. Couple of things make that hard to believe though. One, that's a huge explosion and a lot of earth lifted to be a mortar, at least of the 82mm variety. Maybe a 300mm heavy mortar? Unlikely as I don't see insurgents towing that thing through the streets. They like the smaller, more portable mortars. Two, that would have been a HELL of a shot, even for our highly trained mortar crews let alone some insurgents. A convoy traveling like that and he drops one right in the basket?
He had to have been extremely lucky. In any case, that crew was very lucky to get out like they did.
They use a lot of 155mm HE shells, and every now and then they bury a 500-pounder. I doubt they'd bury an 82 under concrete... but they ain't all smart.
