gym.....where are you going? Sheesh...if you abandon this site, the crazies may take over...or at least the balance from liberated expression moves closer to unremitting vulgarity.
Does you undastan whats "hypocritical" mean? He be callin' out Obama fo sumpin' he not be doin' hisself. Dat be hypocritical. Here anotha example: Dem hypocrits be sittin' in da front pew at church prazzin' tha Lord, but dey be outs on Saddaday nite gettin' dey drunk on an bein' nasty. Den dey claim it be others dat ain't doin' rite and dey be the "holy" one. Dats hypocritical. Undastan?
pimp...you're funny....like Adolphvanker, you've got a schtick. Be nice and be funny and you'll soon get your own site. And maybe someone will visit it. Meantime, keep it sane and original.
Yo Chaz, squarejohn as per usual. Ans you Mackwitmudflaps, you be copping my trip straight up! Work ya stable on the stem, mofo, an don be rufflin up the Glumbert chumpps.
See, it isn't a question of loyalty to the flag, not even the wearing of a flag symbol....what it is is UNFREEKING UNMITIDATED STUPIDITY, for which there is no known cure.
Rep. Kingston might be an appropriate representative for some unique area in this large country where the collective IQ may not amount to my hat size...but frankly, no one deserves his imbecilic representation.
barak hussein obama who does not put his hand on his heart during the national anthem and his wife who has no pride in the united states should be the president of the us? I think not
chuck....admire your intelligence...do not agree with your opinion. "They" want a black man..."they" want a woman...actually, "they" are thirsting for a leader, and - he's unprepared, and - she's too shrill and totally politically motivated.
Enter John McCain...not anyone's favorite, perhaps, but the safest bet, which votes are, actually.
banned....don't care much for what I have seen from you so far, so can't give much credit to your opinions from that negative experience.
But...what do you mean by "your", as in "your idea", "your flag", "your roads"...are you a visitor here, or do you live somewhere that is under US domination?
You are allowed to burn the flag, if you wish. But get the hell off my roads if you don't want to pay for them.
"Typical fascist", eh? Do you even know what "fascism" is?
Bush is not particularly competent, but he is not a dictator. There is some level of uncomfortability with this administration, but it hardly meets the standard one might use to i.d. it as "fascist".
In short...you seem to be looking for attention by being vocally anti-everything.
Well, congratulations. You've established your i.d. Now you need to figure how to crawl out from underneath it. It is the position a simpleton would take...and you are establishing extaordinary qualifications for that position.
Not overly into politics but has any1 noticed obama looks like a skinny version of WWE'S THE ROCK?????????????????
Sawm him on EELEN yesterday ooops i dont watch ELLEN i mean i heard he was on it lol
HAHAHAHAHA re;they,,,,,, you seem to think i am referring to the electorate, newsflash!!!you and your "vote" are irrelevant to the federal government!!! (read about the relationship between diedold voting machines inc. and the republican national committee. see also johnshopkins university vs diebold re: vote fraud & security). etc etc etc
i am quite sure "they" (those who seek power as an end onto itself) view diebold et al as a godsend
Verily, Chuck, all belief systems are false. But I daresay, your quarrels with Diebold would cease if Rep. Paul were the annoited Grand Old Party nominee. Oui?
This moron has been out front as the leader of the moron right and proves the point. He IS a moron and his thought process is moronic and his followers are moronic! Remember, people like him said the Iraq war would "only" cost 60 billion dollars. The guy that said it would cost 120 billion was fired. It is now up to 5 TRILLION DOLLARS!!! ARE YOU MORONS HAPPY WITH YOUR LEADERS??? 5 TRILLION DOLLARS!!!!
knulp...welcome to the stumbling grumblings of Glumbert.
Lesson 1 - stay calm.
Lesson 2 - stay calm.
Lesson 3 - well, you've probably figured that out at this point.
You are screaming at an electorate already much abused and upset. Do you suppose that helps?
Pour a nice chardonnay, and contribute reasoned views...and don't beat up on the nameless and faceless many who you are screaming at. They (we) are already bruised up.
brownlove you can get to eat a beavertail for $1.50 tax in public at the bytown market in Ottawa Ontario. For a one dollar more you can have that beaver tail with coffee . I for one have eaten beavertail.
I just criticize Barak Obama for being Barak Obama. He's all rhetoric and no action. And his middle name is Hussein too. Do you honestly think people will vote for him in the general election? HAH!
Either way the nom goes, Dems are screwed for another 4 years, possibly 8.
Gee, another Republican showing his demented hypocrisy. I'm shocked.
Look, is THIS all these yahoos have left?? They categorize a persons "patriotism" or "loyalty" down to whether or not he's wearing an itty-bitty fuckin' LAPEL PIN??? IS THAT ALL??? Gimme a fuckin' break. I've personally known MANY Americans who have NEVER worn a stupid pin, but who are a gazillion more times the patriot, than that lapel-loving, flag-draping fucking dolt.
Didn't Nazi Germany use the same mindless, brainwashing technique by telling its citizens "If you don't wear that swastika emblem, or wear the Party pin on your lapel....you WILL be under suspicion"?
If I was Barack, I'd tell this mindless, autobot puke EXACTLY what he could do with his "lapel pin", and if he further questioned my feelings as a patriot....I'D HELP PIN IT ON HIM. Permanently.
If my loyalty/patriotism EVER boiled down to whether or not I wore a fuckin' LAPEL PIN (like this fuck insinuates), then I guess that says a lot about how fragile the concept of "patriotism" is.....don't it?
It's all there: pretty well EVERY video clip of "Faux News" (a Republican Party sponsor) where they've said or done something absolutely fucking stupid or insane.
Yep C, I was an original hippie lol, Funny how things change yet stay the same...
Hippies rejected established institutions, criticized upper middle class values, opposed nuclear weapons and the Vietnam War, championed sexual liberation, were often vegetarian and eco-friendly.
In a way I miss those times, (high school) they now seem so simple.
I went to a high school that offered courses out in the community, mostly taught in local colleges, I decided on both the Police officer and Fireman courses, it totaly changed my view of police officers (during a very anti authoritarian time), firemen were always cool. Besides the classroom part, we got to ride around in their squad cars and bust speeders and such, whenever a call came for something "dangerous" I had to get out on the spot! lol From that experience I learned how tough it is to be a cop, always having to keep your cool, be professional, the amount of training etc, I never "dissed" a cop again! I even cut the hair, dumped the army coat and peace pin! I think that experience alone kept me from getting into drugs and trouble during a time when that was the "cool" thing to do!
Seems like courses like that should be offered these days, sure turned me around!
Morning C.
Talking of stinky asses....
I was on a bus in Riga in 2003 when an old woman shat herself. You know, I don't think it's that uncommon for old people to do this, but Jesus, it sure gives you a new perspective on life when it happens right next to you. At first I thought someone had just let go a real bad fart, but it lingered around for more than three stops and she was moving around quite awkwardly, as if she was trying to rearrange her clothing or something.
Eventually, she got up to get off the bus, and the seat was stained. Fuck me!
She walked in a funy sort of way to the bus door and people were giving her a wide berth. The driver had a cloth over his face. When she managed to step down and onto the sidewalk, everybody gave a big cheer! I felt a bit sorry for the old girl, but it put me off Latvian public transport for good.
LOL, good story garbage! Reminds me of the time I was at Art Van furniture and someone shat themselves in a big white recliner! Bet that one went to the clearance section!
Lol podman i was picking my buddy up for school he was wearing white jeans and suddenly shit himself i did help by placing exlax in his cocoa puff bowl of cereal lol
I had a though and this message is for the top posters there is so many to list miter, randall, billb, gym, canuck, cman, free,,mako, podman, chuck, surfer, brownie and even you vagina i know i forgot alot of people and im sorry but i cant help thinking we should be getting paid for our posts everybody i talk 2 says" I like the posts more than the vids" now glumbert is bringing in large advertising dollars it only makes sense to me that we should be getting ROYALTIES!!What cha think?
I think you're a genius Planet. I better start posting more, just in case! Our royalties would most likely correspond with how frequently we post comments.
Later PT
Thanx free keep up the good posts people love em and u and you never know we may be rewarded kinda like AIR MILES but we will call em GLUMBERT MILES or GLUMBERT POINTS CARD
Greetings, Freetobe, and thank you. I just couldn't take the mindlessness of commenters on utoob and similar any longer, but, being the Anti-Visa, we shall have to wait and see. I note that there are a number of cool folk here, such as yourself.
Being an olden phart meself, I wouldn't dream of referring to anyone here as elderly...
...perhaps "Mature"? "Seasoned"? 0r in my case, "Well-preserved"? Heh.
It would be nice to be a Glumelder, but I'm one of those who doesn't really give a rat's patootie about acceptance and all that rot. It would be nice to be able to comment and discourse with intelligences above 5 points and maturity levels greater than 2 years, but that, of course, is up to all of you.
Perhaps I should upload a few vids of my retired Greyhound, for the few dog lovers? Break the ice, so to speak. Unlike that recent death-metal airedale, he prefers Mozart and Bach. In fact, he barks Bach.
Let's see, I have the day off, the little lady is working, it just snowed 8-10 inches....shit I feel an ATV video brewing in my head. Now lets see what can I do to make it interesting (the big picture is just plain lost when you film these things) I could jump over the camera with reverse angles and such, but if I don't get air-born...that sucker will be smashed...oh screw it, I'll just go for it.....hit that jump hard and fast!
If I don't post here in the next 4 hours, call 911, I'll be the bloody thing under a red Rubicon in the field!
LOL miter we got another foot of snow here Brighton Ontario and another thought maybe a reward system or for above ten posts your name get hilighted in red above 20 in gold maybe some contests give a way a free trip say to.......i dont know........BERMUDA....maybe 2 me first for coming up with the great ideam We support Glumbert So show your support to us Thank You

Besides the ignorant stupidity of the article, I draw your attention to where this Army officer says the following:
"We in the U.S. know that the M-16 is superior to the AK-47 ... it's more durable".
HUH??
This may be the first time anyone has ever said the M-16 is more durable than the AK-47. The AK-47 is used all over the developing world precisely because it IS durable, and cheap. The M-16 is more accurate, especially at a distance, but durable it isn't. Or so I believe.
The bad hype the M16 received was due to it's problems when first used in Vietnam. The major problem with the M-16's jamming can be traced to an idea that the then Secretary of Defense Robert MacNamara and some of his top Generals got; Since there were so much old ball power left from WW-1, WW-2 and the Korean War, why not substitute the original powder used in the 5.56mm round with this old ball power, BIG MISTAKE! This was what caused all the problems with jamming and fouling, the ball type powder sucked up water vapor like mad, causing shells (already chambered) to expand in the barrel and get stuck, no chrome lining in the barrel, also the problem of the higher power ball powder making the rifle cycle beyond design limits wore it out real fast!
So, in today's world, with the updated M4 A2, no longer fully automatic, (three round burst and semi auto only) chrome lined barrel and daily cleanings, the M16 is by far the superior rifle in every way when compared to the AK47. Range, accuracy, reliability, light weight, light ammo weight, quick take down/clean up, faster rate of fire, this rifle is awesome! I do love the AK and own both, but would take the M4 hands down!
There are my thoughts C!
If you want to watch a video I made last weekend, (it's kinda long) at the end I have the AK and M4 (civilian M16) in use, I even "raced" my friend, (he with AK, me with the M4) The only problem I've ever had with the M4 is when using "cheap" after market magazines.
My thoughts are since you asked canuck1963 is why dont you get a AK47 and shoot your left knee with it and than get the M-16 and do the same with your right knee and see which one is most effective. Let me know the results.hey
Okay...I'll take it as a given that you're our resident expert here. Jeez!
BUT......the original question I had pertained to wqhether or not it is more DURABLE and CHEAPER to make, vs. the M-16 (issues of accuracy, clean-up rates, etc. aside).
the m-16 is a superior weapon in the hands of a good rifleman....but if you aren't a good shot and are less than diligent about cleaning the weapon the ak is the way to go... remember col hackworth, ( i think he won the medal of honor) (you gotta read about this guy)
http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2005/05/30/to_the_end_colonel_a_man_of_the_troops/ ........what a brave son of a bitch anyhow..... 'Vietnam war veteran David H. Hackworth recalled, %u201C One of the bulldozers uncovered the decomposing body of an enemy soldier, complete with AK-47. I happened to be standing right there, looking down into the hole and pulled the AK out of the bog. "Watch this, guys," I said, "and I'll show you how a real infantry weapon works." I pulled the bolt back and fired 30 rounds..."
I just asked my Elmo doll, and he prefers the AK (That commie!), but Big Bird uses the M-16 (Says he's gonna kill those two muppets that shorted him on the China White).
Thanks for that link! I read it through-and-through. Most informative.
A genuine American hero, this man. His only fault appears to have been the concern and well-being of his "kids", unlike the present -day fanatics who say they "support the troops", but don't seem to give a shit if they have the proper equipment, training or financial support....or even continue dying.
And I loved the anecdote about the AK-47! Wow!
Now that's my point: could an M-16 have done THAT, in those exact circumstances?
Then am I correct in my original assessment in saying that the Army officer quoted in that link I gave above who said the M-16 is more "durable" than the AK-47....... is full of shit?
(Still waiting for clarification from Mitercut as well)
In a nut shell, the AK is going to keep firing no matter what it gets "into"....
Finishing David H. Hackworths quote above, referring to the AK..."That was the kind of weapon our soldiers needed, not the confidence-sapping M16"
As I said before there was some real f-ups from command, mainly...
The M16 was billed as self-cleaning when it was in fact not.
The rifle was issued to troops without cleaning kits or instruction on how to clean the rifle.
The rifle was tested and approved with the use of a Dupont IMR powder that was switched to a ball powder that increased both wear and fouling.
The lack of a chrome liner for the barrel and chamber created a corrosion problem and contributed to brass case swelling and extraction problems.
Lack of a forward assist rendered the rifle inoperable in combat when it jammed.
All these problems are now fixed, making the M4 A2 and it's variants "The" rifle to carry!
As to the production costs.. the AK is comprised of many stamped steel parts, requiring it to be manufactured in large stamping facilities. It cannot be mass produced in great quantities (compared to the M16) although there are many small "makers" of the AK and therein lies the problem, small variations make the AK very hard to adapt "add ons" which the M16 excells at.
This is has been a hottly debated issue for years, but all in all, in my opinion, owning both rifles for years and using them frequently, if my life was on the line...... M16 no question! (with Crimson Trace laser grip, M 203 grenade launcher, EOTech Holo Sight,
I enjoy shootin%u2019 stuff too but no longer have anywhere near the access to weaponry, explosives and space that Miter enjoys so thought I%u2019d stick my oar in%u2026
The original M-16 introduced in Vietnam met with problems for sure..."You can tell it's Matell" was an oft used phrase that came about as a result of the use of new advanced plastics and shitty reliability. As with all new designs (the weapon itself was revolutionary at the time) there were teething problems. These were compounded as Miter rightly says by ball powder, no proper cleaning kits or instructions being issued with it. The military saw where the problems laid and addressed them
There is also the issue of outright firepower. In this regard I disagree respectfully with Miter. The original M16 was without doubt outgunned by the AK-47 when taking 7.62mm vs 5.56mm rounds into account. In Vietnam GI's hiding behind what they thought were thick enough tree stumps found to their cost the penetration power of the 7.62mmm round in close quarters. It is very, very powerful. At longer ranges needing more accuracy the M16 was better in the hands of a marksman.
The use of a smaller but much faster 5.56mm round that would tumble inside the target causing massive internal injuries was the trade off made against outright punch. The M16 saw lots and lots of improvements made. It is a very good weapon for sure...
Short interruption to bring you some useless trivia:
If you ever see Brit forces on TV news items carrying an M16/A2 with an M203 underneath it then you are seeing an SAS troop in action. Regular UK forces use the SA-80 which I have used on a range - I found the 5.56mm meant very low recoil when compared to the big kick from the 7.62 SLR, but you knew for sure at 300-600m which weapon would put someone down faster.
Incidentally the SA-80 had teething problems too, the most embarrassing of which was apparently its advanced plastic stock dissolving on contact with certain insect repellants when used in a tropical environment. Not helpful. It's now a very good weapon but the fact the SAS prefer the M16/A2 says something...
Back to the original discussion:
So when we compare the firepower of the original AK-47, virtually zero maintenance, very high reliability (apart from the odd 'stove pipe' jam which many auto assault rifles can suffer from), incredibly cheap to produce etc then I have to say dispassionately that I think the AK shades it.
Miter%u2026 we seldom disagree on stuff but I%u2019m not sure how you can say that the M16 is more easily mass produced than the AK? The fact that the AK is made from stamped metal means it%u2019s very easily and simply produced; whether on a mass production line as they originally were in the Soviet Union, or the smaller gun shop in northern Pakistan with steel stamping equipment. If the gunsmith has a template, or simply a stripped down rifle they can be copied and made VERY easily. Remember it%u2019s the SINGLE MOST mass produced assault weapon on the planet. A Chechen jihadist can come to Afghanistan with his Chechen made weapon, go to the local market and find bits which will fit and work fine etc%u2026
Do bear in mind to that the AK-47 has also evolved substantially in the same way the M16 has. The new AK line up is a very, VERY potent range of weapons. Necessity breeds simple and effectively design which is how the AK-47 came into being. The newer AKS-74 is easily on par with, or better than most as well. Incidentally AK also moved towards a smaller, more accurate round and the later model AKs fire the 5.45mm cartridge
Looking forwards I think NATO probably needs to address the issue of stopping power. Whilst it is always preferable to wound a combatant and thereby take two or more of his uninjured comrades out of the battle whilst they tend to him, the current wars (in Afghanistan especially) are being fought against fighters with a different mentality - the NATO 5.56mm round is left wanting against warriors for whom even severe injury will not stop them trying to reach 70 black eyed virgins
The NATO standard 5.56 round simply doesn't carry the energy needed to generate the one stop shot that today%u2019s battlefield seems to require. To this end I believe we will shortly see a move back towards a slightly larger, higher kinetic energy round.
Barrett are currently testing what is basically an AR15/M16/M4 rifle, with a few added features, most important of which is use of a round like the Remington 6.8mm that delivers much more terminal effect. Think the weapon is called the M468...
See it soon in a theatre of war near you!
Frankly both weapons are very good at what they do, but in terms of outright durability, ease of use, popularity and stopping power, I really think the original AK shades the M-16.
The AK-47 is the Volkswagon Beatle of weaponry - everyone recognises them, those who repair them can od it easily and very infrequently, and they are absolutely 110% fit for purpose. As the venerable and esteemed Mr L Jackson says:
"AK47 - for when you absolutely positively have to kill very muthafucka in the room, accept no substitute!"
(Tho personally I'd opt for a supressed MP5K if 'in a room')
PS - The M16 has never been depicted on the national flag of a country. The AK has.
PPS After extensive testing the Israelis adopted the AK design. They didn't want to buy from an anti-semetic country like Russia, so they changed the caliber to .308, changed the name to the Galil, again, a very highly regarded weapon
bug, I know nothing of the HK G11 or HK G36, except they look really cool! Actually I read up on them and they seem like very good weapons. Could be the weapon of the future like mako outlines.
Mako, very good points all, all my "opinions" are based on my own experience with both rifles. I've never been in "battle" so I can't speak of them in those terms. When my buddies and I 'go a shootin' we notice some very clear differences in the two rifles, one being how freaking loud the AK is, the other, with an AK, you basically can't hit the side of a barn with the door closed unless you're within 50 yards. We were sighting in some deer shotguns and brought out the AR and AK. I was putting .223 rounds in the same hole at 100 yards w/ scope, enter AK, w/ scope after 30 rounds, did not hit the 3' x 4' target ONCE! The AK 30 round mag was then loaded with 15 (every other) rounds of tracers, from the waist I was then able to rip the target to shreds, after which we counted 12 hits out of 30! The AK was so hot it had to be set aside for over 15 minutes just to hold it. The M4 went on for another 10 mags or so.
Stopping power.....the .223 FMJ (US Military Lake City Arsenal M855 SS109 Penetrator ammo, 62 grain with steel tipped penetrating core for combat use) seems to zip unimpeded through just about anything, cars, doors, houses, frozen pumpkins, trees up to about 16"diameter. The hollow points at 55 grain, did too, except for no penetration on engine blocks or most trees 4" and up.
The AK was popping out 7.62x39,122 grain, Bimetal jacket (copper over steel) Hollow Point bullet. Devastating is an understatement, they shredded everything listed above, including penetrating trees up to 20" diameter, but the trees directly behind those were not penetrated, just "debarked" at the point of impact. They blew the crap out of an engine block and I mean big holes!
Tumbling bullets...to me it seems as if the 7.62s tumble more than the .223 55 grain, the .223 62 grain seem to do the tumbling, my AR has 1:9 twist so it's matched to the 55 grain.
Currently, the manufacture process of the AK and M4/M16/AR15 are quite different, the M4 can be produced much more efficiently and quickly than the AK, simply due to automation, whereas the AK is completely manufactured by hand. At the end of the day, you'll have a lot more M16s on the rack than AKs.
One last thing, there is no such thing (never was) as an "assault weapon". This is a term coined by the anti gun/ anti American left wing nut jobs about 10 or so years ago. AKA "ugly gun" (that's why I hate the term so much)
Here's a video I made using the M4 and tracer rounds, I was exactly 100 yards out, shooting off hand (no support) you can clearly see the incredible accuracy of the M4! Two shots in the same hole, now I know I'm good but half the credit has to go to that M4! An Ak at 100 yrds....wouldn't even have rounds in the picture!
Regards accuracy I agree with you on the M16. This vid perhaps highlights the how and whys better than most. The AK has a much larger round giving a greater kick so the weapon jumps around more when firing. That and the fact they were built with much more generous tolerances thereby creating flex in the system when fired. Think the kick on an M16 is directed in a straight rearward motion whereas the AK is all over the place.
The M16 is a much more compact and 'bolted down' weapon in this respect, but at shorter ranges in a 'spray and pray' situation the AK might be more dangerous. Fair?
Regards the 'tumbling' I mentioned, not sure if this is the right term or not. Basically I have heard the smaller 5.56 round tends to do this when it ENTERS the target, often fragmenting and causing severe injury through hydrostatic shock. The 7.62 can often simply go straight through the target which in some instances is not as effective.
Let's be honest though... if you're on the recieving end of either, you're in a bad place.
Still, in terms of popularity the honours still probably have to go to Mr Kalashnikov given the sheer numbers in existence.
Hear what you say regards manufacture too, The AK is simpler but needs mass production for efficiency. However the fact some guy in his own little gunsmiths can stamp out the template himself is one of the main reasons why so many AKs exist.
Yes, it may well be man-hour intensive but if 20k guys are able to make just 20 weapons a head in their little gun shop then there're some numbers there.
Now this may well change now the US is arming Arab nations with their preferred weaponry. Is arming nation states with a propensity for wars into which the US may well be dragged a wise move??
Guess it could be if the weapon is not able to be manufactured easily in local gunsmiths...
I tips my forty to Mako and Miter! Respect! But what about my Charter Arms rod? Got me out of a close scrape wit Tyrone, but I aint never plugged no Viet Kong, ya dig?
mako, thanks for the link to that video, somehow I missed that one! I have a final thought on this whole discussion canuck got going....I'm not so sure I like the idea of the M16 being in the hands of what could still be the "enemy" or at least falling into the hands of the enemy in large numbers, due to it's longer range and accuracy, I'd rather have the 100 plus yards of extra firing time at the enemy holding that AK!
Yup - kinda my point about the US arming nation states with whom it may at some point fight again. Mind you, even if the enemy are armed with M16s, the US haven't sold the Warthog to any other nation as far as I'm aware....
This means that nice big GAU-8 is looking after the US troops on the ground
(oh...with the odd blue on blue thrown in to keep everyone on their toes...)
Diggin that Charter Lord Stutz
Pray refrain from further usage and frame it instead
Toast it lovingly and fire it fleetingly only
I trust Tyrone now shows you sum respec?
Not patriotic for failing to wear a stupid pin? Why not unpatriotic for failing to get a tattoo of your flag on your arm? Come on, up the ante here. Are you saying you do not love your country enough to get some ink done to show it? Is this just to0 permanent for your wishy-washy brand of love for your country? We need to start a movement to get people on board to this, and anyone that will not commit is clearly a communist or islamic jihadist sympathizer who wants to take away our freedoms and therefore should be imprisoned or forced out of the nation. After all, if we do not do what is expected of us by a few of our leaders to show love for our country, how can expect to have freedom?
Or, could it be that in a truly free society people should be free to reject others petty little notions of how patriotism must be demonstrated? ....No, that is nonsense. Sorry for bringing it up. Stars and Stripes Forever will be tattooed on my arm by tomorrow

Big Bird has written a new book "My Life on da Street"
As stated in his new book, Big Bird (aka Yellow Meanie, aka The Roach) has committed multiple felonies on Sesame Street.
In a interview with The Count, he stated that Big Bird had been nabbed several times based on information from the well known snitch Grover (aka Blue Scum). The count stated that Big Bird had "One, Two, Three, Felony's. Ha. Ha. Ha."
It has long been know that there were nefarious characters on "The Street", and this recent book from Big bird will reveal the dark underbelly of the muppet underworld.
Chuck legalize ecstacy why not up here in the great white north we have legalized marijuana and gay marriages so why not lol
Podman ive noticed SESAME STREET coming up alot check this vid out its hilarious and we call our GREAT DANE SNUFFY LOL

pod, I think the kid has the new "Chucky" doll incarnation, I wouldn't let that thing in the house! Matter of fact a well placed half pounder of tannerite would take care of that problem before this happens....
Planettint...sorry I was below your radar as you were scoping out potential supporters for your idea re: your posting-recognitin-program, but I would consider serving as Head Censor, Chief Lexicographer and Primary "Inappropriate" Presser.
Of course, there'd be a lot of blank spaces in the posts as a result...in fact, some might disappear altogether. But what the heck, how good can one's imagination be if it can not survive a challenge to fill in the blanks.
Another benefit might be that there'd be no backbones, brownloves, v'smellers, or the like.
So, class, just sit up straight, and keep it clean.
(After reconsidering....the a'holes actually make the rest of us look good, and the classless, brainless posts make our own seem to much more "on spot", relevant....intelligent, even.
So...on balance, I can not accept the great honor you have not accorded me, as I could not execute the actions needed to grace that august position as it properly warrants.
I guess this is where you put the LOL, to make sure everyone knows it's just funnin'.
First off, this whole lapel pin discussion is ridiculous. Im a republican and Im sick of both sides emphasizing unimportant points in an attempt to go negative. Obama has plenty of problems in my mind in regards to being qualified (or unqualified for that matter) to become president, but to suggest he is unpatriotic is just dishonest. Regardless, this official was not in the least bit being hypocritical. He was criticizing Obama for saying he would no longer (as in NEVER) wear a label pin. For this congressman to be hypocritical he would also have to "NEVER wear a lapel pin again." Simply not wearing it on any given day is not hypocritical given his criticism of Obama's statement. In fact, I would prefer he didn't merely put on a lapel pin just to make a point - to me that would be pretty fake. Back to my original point, that is exactly why obama said he would never wear one, b/c some people do so as more of a show of patriotism, in other words, for SOME, they are just being fake. I happen to agree with this. Regardless, who the hell cares. This lapel pin discussion is ridiculous, and describing this congressman as hypocritical is not accurate. n'ough said. foucker out!
Both sides spin, unfortunately it is the nature of politics. Most of the ridiculous attacks on Obama up until this point have actually come from Hillary's camp, aka democrats. Don't get me wrong, once the primaries are over republicans will throw out their fair share of dumb shit, but so will democrats in attack of McCain. They already have in the form of the NY times story, more will follow on both sides. Wish things were different, but they aren't. But i think pointing at one side being worse than the other just isn't true.
ok let's talk about the republican front runner....... john mccain During Mccains naval service he crashed 3 jets, started a fire that killed more than 130 people and was shot down after apx 49 hrs of combat
The aircraft carrier Forrestal tragedy Surviving crewmen and those who investigated the Forrestal fire case reported that McCain deliberately 'wet-started' his A-4E Skyhawk to shake up the guy in the F-4 Phantom behind his A-4.
Incompetence Or A Stunt
'Wet-starts', done either deliberately (the starter motor switch allowed kerosene to pool in the engine and give a wet start) or accidentally, shoot a large flame from the tail of the aircraft. 'Wet starting' was a common practice among young 'hot-dog' pilots.
Zuni Rockets Were Volatile Design
In McCain's case, the 'wet-start' 'cooked off' and launched the M34 Zuni rocket from the rear F-4 that punctured the Skyhawk's fueltank, knocked the M-65 1000 lb bomb off it's 500 lb rated mount, and touched off the explosions and massive fire.
McCain Was Shufled Out In A Hurry
The F-4 pilot was reportedly killed in the conflagration, along with 134 of his fellow Forrestal shipmates. McCain was quickly (they were still counting the Forrestal dead) transferred to the USS Oriskany (the only Forrestal crewman to be immediately transferred).
next time we will address mccains involvement in the largest bank fraud in the histiry of the U.S. that's right the Keating Five!!!
i'm telling you they want obama behind the wheel as we go over the cliff
they know mccain will be compromised by his incompetence, mental health issues and lack of integrity
------ McCain I don't know what has happened to McCain. When he was running before he had a honest popularist platform that was clearly and humbly stated. I really liked and admired him then, but somehow between then and now he has become a entirely different person. Or maybe the first time he ran he was false, I really don't know.
But anyway now he seems to be controlled, and I don't mean self control, I mean his message is totally changed, and he seems like a feeble old puppet for his handlers. It could be that he is so old to the point that he is easily controlled (it is a common problem with brain function of the elderly). He not only looks very very old, but acts, and speaks as someone very old. He makes Ron Paul (Who I really like) look like a teenager.
I still admire him, I just don't like or trust him anymore because his personality has changed so far from that first time around. Also, we all know that Regan was obviously senile in his second term, and was being controlled by those around him. I think there should be a too old restriction for president, just like there is a too young restriction. Those who vote for McCain, may well be voting for the VP.
----- Obama Obama is young and his mind is sharp, and he is the only candidate that can make this claim. He is also carries a popularist message that Americans find refreshing and hopeful (and being popularism is not a crime, regardless of what the RNC and Rush Limbaugh say.) It is not a crime to be 45 years old, and it does not mean that one cannot handle the presidency.
In many ways his not being so entrenched in the beltway is a good thing. He has yet to be completely corrupted by the stench of Washington politics.
----- Hillary Hillary is in a tough position, and is a very tough woman. I give her points for having a huge amount of knowledge and experience for the position. However she has voted so many times based on the wishes of her corporate masters that I don't trust her either. Some of her votes were so outrageously against the will of the people of the united states (The National Medical Database), that it is either stupidity (which I doubt), or outright corruption.
She has tried running as the outsider (lie), as the candidate of real change (lie), as the candidate of experience (truth). It all just comes across like a grasping pile of crap to gain the presidency at any cost but with a real and honest will to do the job well, and steer the country to a [ peculiar and intensely personal and corporate ] direction (Just like McCain).-----Synopsis
All powerful and successful people have skeletons in their closet. It comes with the experience of living, and it is not a crime to make mistakes, unless those mistakes were of criminal intent. I think Americans can look past any or all of three of these candidates having unfavorable or even stupid events in their past. The question always boils down to one of personal integrity, intelligence, and normality.
Will the candidate and the selected cabinet serve the People of America, and not just serve themselves.
Chuck, besides being a bit critical on such things when they pop up during elections it does technically make not much sense. If the F4 actually got a fire blast from ahead there is not much chance that this would have ignited the rocket engine of a missile as its engine is facing away from the blast. The official analysis of a power surge in the electrical system combined with a failure of the safety pin makes a lot more sense.
Also back then Mccaine was just a navy pilot, don't you think they would have hanged him for such a thing?
In any case I think that Obama is the best choice of what is available, at least he is not so old that the presidency would be the last thing to do in his life. This should give him a bit more of a long term prespective, he will likely live to see the results of his decisions.

Chuck - I think those are untranslated Unicode characters %u2019 is a quotation mark. If you are using a editor like notepad this problem should not occur, also many editors can exclude or translate Unicode characters into ASCII.
This may also be a Glumbert problem if they are attempting to parse out illegal HTML or Java control characters, but are leaving the remnant of the Unicode controls.
Obama's wife said for the first time recently that she 'has a reason to be proud to be an American for the first time' She says this because her husband is a front-runner for Presidency of the United States of America. So basically Mrs. Obama has never been a patriotic American? And Now Obama himself refuses to wear a USA Flag-Pin on his lapel? I wonder is it because Barack Obama sees himself as 'Black' and not American? Or African, and not American? Or is it because he simpy just doesn't like what America stands for? I mean I would not wear any symbol of anything that I didn't approve of, so I can only deduce that obama doesn't approve of this country.. Sooooooooo... With that said, i am beginning to become afraid to find out what his true purpose is to get into the White House?
I think that African-American's in this country, to some degree, have not as yet reached an equal plateau of stability in this country, given their past, the whole slavery effect, racism, etc.. The anger-toll has not been overcome on a National level and to run a country there are things that need to be tended to, national security, foreign affairs, economical matters, etc.. do you want some angry man running the country with a chip on his shoulder who says once he's in "It's my house now, back off"? That is a scary thought and for that alone, I must vote for Hillary. Perhaps some time in the future the country will be ready to happily vote in an African American. Please don't take this as racism in any way. I merely executing my American right to freedom of speech and opinion. Anyone who calls me a racist or any other derogatory name is merely violating the Constitutional's code of conduct and is a hypocrital American.
1. His wife has already clarified that remark.....repeatedly. Either you you will accept it...ro you won't.
2. We've already discussed the stupidity of measuring one's "patriotism", or equating it.....to an itty-bitty lapel pin. In all other democracies, this is a non-issue, and a ridiculous/absurd theshold to use, in order to stack for/against a candidates qualifications.
3. His "true purpose" in getting to the White House?? Oh I dunno...do ya think the inarticulate, WHITE little cowboy-wannabee you have sitting there NOW, is any better??
4. He's an "angry man"?? Uh...yeah. Right.
5. WHat's this "God Bless America" stuff? Why should He take time out from His busy schedule (if he's there to begin with) to "bless America"?? Why not, say, Switzerland? Or Norway? Or Nepal? Or .....wait.....(*gasp!*).....Canada? Just what is this nonsensical belief that HE'S gonna "Bless" YOU folks??? And more to the point.....what SHOULD He?????
Anyways, I suggest to be a little-bit more .....ahhhh....well-read.....before you decide to adhere to your "Constitutional Code of Conduct", and then decide what a "hypocritical American" is.
Kindest Regards,
C.
P.S.
May God (s) Bless Canada, Hockey, Beer, Bacon and All Her Territories.
Rebuttal is not against the constitution or the BOR. So I offer this reply.McCain recently called himself a Liberal. Anything these candidates do no matter how small is put under the political microscope by the opponents and spun into something derogatory.
Of course she is proud, he is her husband, and just like any power couple they are intertwined in the success. I really don't thin Mrs Obama meant her statement as a attack or comment on the US, I just think she was just expressing pride for her husband, and it has been spun into her and her husband being terrorists.
The most recent attack on Obama by the RNC and Fox News is associating him with Islamic Terrorists, by using his middle name as the "Proof". Now that is school yard politics!
As to his decision to pin or not to pin, thats his choice. By the definition of this guy in the video I'm not even a American, as I don't even own such a pin. It is the same spin that is used in that if you are against war, then you are for terrorism. It is all false patriotic bullshit used as a lever to sway public opinion.
I would guess as a black man he does not like being told by his white masters what he has to wear, think, and act. And for having that backbone against those who would force anyone, through any means to wear a pin, I admire and applaud the man, and I respect his decision.
I don't want the government or anyone else telling me what to wear and I would not say why I wasn't cooperating either, because that just hands over another weapon to use against me.
If the government or some group told you you have to wear this "Loyalty pin" even if you agreed with it would you do it? I wouldn't.
This attempt at social McCarthyism is a old one, and it is used to destroy innocent people. Real Americans don't even like being told what kind of car they can drive, why would any American dress as the government wants? If I wanted to live under that yoke I would move to North Korea.
the commment about non-patriotism was not about the lapel pin, the lapel pin was in regard to Barack not wanting associate himself with 'America'. The comment about patriotism, was from Mrs. Obama who just recently agrees that she is now starting to feel proud to be an American, oh yeah, sure.. now that her husband is the front-runner wow what a surprise now she's proud to be an American. See this is my exact point, African American's seem to only be proud of something when they are on the top. But unfortunately there is usually only 1 on top and millions that just have to accept being less than top. I'm not a front runner for presidency, but yet I'm still an American-Loving, proud to be American person.. But Mrs. Obam is NOT, and she said it on national Television! Ooops!
God Bless America is something American's say. If you live in Canada, by all means say God Bless Canada. That would make most sense, yes.
(clears his throat....gets a better idea of what he's dealing with here)
You completely ignored, and/or otherwise glossed over everything I (as well as Podman) wrote-----much like any usual Republican.
I shall refer you BACK to what we wrote, and stand-pat on that, until such time as you address the SPECIFIC rebuttals offered to you, in a SPECIFIC manner. In the meantime, we'll classify this as deliberate obfuscation on your part. Alrighty? Good.
And as far as the whole "God Blessing" stuff....I think you missed the point there as well. Why not "God Bless Humanity"? Or "God Bless Peace And Goodwill On Earth"? You say it's just something Americans say; okay, fine. That's a rather lackluster rationale. So if jumping off a cliff is a past-time most Americans do....then are YOU going to be first in line to go over, and follow like like a lemming? See my point? Canada (or Canadians, in general) do NOT feel a need to say "God Bless Canada", for the simple reason that we don't feel the need to monopolize or isolate a deity on our behalf. Never had that as part of our psyche.
Personally, like I said, if She IS around.....She'll have better things to do.
Sow how 'bout you, me and all of us....just leave Her the hell out of this....and concentrate on the issues-at-hand, and not muddy the waters with a lot of superstitious mumbo-jumbo.
I guess by your standard then McCain is a liberal. He said it so it must be true. He tried to correct himself by making a joke, but that is just a cover up for his 'real nature' correct? And, and he said it on national Television! Oops!
Your preemptive definition of America is false: "Anyone who calls me a racist or any other derogatory name is merely violating the Constitutional's code of conduct and is a hypocrital American. " Just because others don't agree with what you believe, and have the audacity to say so, does not make them un-American. I guess by that definition I and Mr. Obama should 'know our place'.
I live in New England so by a NASCAR conservative standard I'm not an American. If one were to hide behind patriotism, and use it as a shield against their own opinions, then yes North Korea is the place to do it. They would be hiding their statements behind words like God Bless North Korea, ect.
As to Mr. and Mrs. Obama's patriotism coming into question because of their pride of being African American, I have to say that is OK by me. The repression via race still continues, and to rise above it in spite of this repression is a source of pride, and to do it in America is also a source of pride. A pride that could not be expressed by an African American in 1808, or 1908, but maybe can be expressed in 2008! Or perhaps I'm wrong and that whenever some American expresses some pride in the country of their ancestors, then they are to be placed under a cloud of suspicion (McCarthyism).
Your quote: "And Now Obama himself refuses to wear a USA Flag-Pin on his lapel? I wonder is it because Barack Obama sees himself as 'Black' and not American? Or African, and not American? Or is it because he simpy just doesn't like what America stands for? I mean I would not wear any symbol of anything that I didn't approve of, so I can only deduce that obama doesn't approve of this country.."
Reminds me of that dirty old priest on one of Woody Allens movies: "The best thing in life are 12 year old blonde girls and whenever possible two of them."
C...puhleeeesze do NOT respond to this sort of vapid commentary. His (oanuck) total absence of depth leaves a vacuum on the thread, but try not to fill it with reason, as it may allow him to believe he has substance.
I don't get it. He's saying that is problem is that Obama REFUSES to wear a lapel pin. He seems to reasonably respond (when challenged that he isn't wearing one) that he HAS worn them, and WILL wear them again. The point is not whether any specific person is currently wearing a pin, it's whether or not that person is WILLING to wear one which, presumably, Obam is not.
In my opinion, I think the question is should anyone be forced to wear a pin because others say so. Obama sided with freedom, and that's something all Americans believe in.
C - To the contrary, I think this pin business is sorting those who are willing to follow a doctrine prescribed by the government, and those who will stand for freedom.
If they elect to act like a FREE American and elect to NOT wear a dumb pin....then it really shouldn't be used as a litmus test as to their presidential qualifications (but I guess some yahoos will INSIST on doing so).
Yes, by this reasoning one can always spot a loyal member of the KKK, because they are wearing their KKK pin. And if they are not then they are not a racist.
Somehow wearing a pin instantiates a belief or not. So if I wear a crucifix I'm automatically a Christian, and if I wear as star of David then I'm automatically a Jew. If is wear a pin shaped like a pea pod then I a vegan?
Some men wear boxers with the an american flag print what is that meant 2 represent absolutely nothing @ the end of the day its not a true flag it is a piece of plastic with a print on it.
Podman and canuck1963 r right lets all start wearing symbols that differentiate who we are so it saves time on who we hate or like.
