I do not mean to take issue with such incisive observations. Pac has expressed her sense in most convincing terms. Gold has supported them. Infant challenges other motivations behind this piece.

But........objectively........what thoughts might ensue?

There was a certain poetry in the gyro performers' exercises...look deeply and sense their passion for form and performance....gad, how subtle, how evasive of common perception.

It reminded me greatly, and probably was the precursor , of the step-master, the bowflex, and all those other fadish contrivances...except, this was without a second agenda (i.e., it wasn't made by Ronco, Vegematic, Oxyshit, nor promoted by some shouting shill.)

I think these rotating bods inspired Ron Popeil who thought "meat" all the time...hence the Ronco rotary roaster deal. And you get thermoprotective gloves with it, which can not be used as handcoverings in any climate except hell.

Gawd. I love art..........but then, I digress...........

Not yet.

Maybe next week or two.

Just ruminating. As it seems, mostly among myselves. But I enjoy bumping into others from everywhere in this venue.

Fun.

This is correctly called Röhnrad and it is a German invention from the early 20th century. The street scenes were from the center of Berlin. It is not exactly forgotten, it is merely a minor sport that is done almost exclusively in Germany.

Roehnrad, with an o-umlatut.

Agree with Chaz - there was a sense of flow and motion to the piece that I appreciated - looks like something French.

German.
