Me and the first guy thought we were going to die laughing, had to be one of the best laughs I've ever had (this dude so deserved it) to see his eyes bug out and run for the bathroom...lol...we wouldn't take him home to change either....later the first guy told me the other dude left his underwear in the bathroom trash! The difference between Glumbert and other video sites like Ebaums and YouTube is the level of intelligence (whether right or wrong) that comes out in most of the comments. Do you have an opinion beyond what someone else has given you. Yes, you find blogs, opinion pieces and news articles from people already disposed to hating the war effort...how hard is that?! I know there is dissent, so what? You cite these things as if they stand alone as fact and that you have proven a point. ("well, my teacher told it was so and that means it is.")

Now, to your points
1. No, 4000 deaths alone does not make someone "hysterical" about them getting there. If you want to spare the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, start shutting down automobile factories, bars, etc...the combination of which takes more lives in 2-3 months than the Iraq war has thus far. Spare us the fake indignation about people's lives. How about those Saddam killed? How about those AQ has killed? I just happen to believe there are things worth dying and killing for. You have said before that you don't.
2. By your rationale, no one should police anything or defend anything because it can't be done forever. The Iraqi deaths are largely at their own hands as they decide what they are going to fight for and who they are going to fight against. Remember that 13,000 that began fighting with us instead of against us...do you suppose there are more like that? Do you suppose that counts as "moving in a successful direct?" You desire for our failure in Iraq is now at Ludicrous speed.
3. I do not have to tell you what i have done on bealf of our soldiers and what I have helped organize. It most certainly is not enough and does not touch my true appreciation. I will let you brag in this spot about all that you have done.
4. I agree the Dems lack the intestinal fortitude to bring impeachment hearings. They only investigate things that go no where after they've done their time on the news. This would be the coup de grace if they could impeach GWB and Cheney. Seriously, why not? The next pres could inherit a troop drawdown that would really be popular. But, alas, no one really believes the things you say about GWB...double check that in the polls.

I get my info all over the place. When something strikes me as interesting, I check it out on other sources. Then, and this is key, I think about it and come to some sort of conclusion. Took the fam snowmobiling yesterday to the frozen lake at the cottage (past Orillia). Gawd! It was awesome! My brother had a fleet of SEVEN machines (one for each of us), and we went zipping across the trails and all. Fuckin' thing I was on did a hundred clicks easy. Man-oh-man! He was gonna take his helicopter up, and take us for a ride as well, but the cloud cover ("ceiling", in pilot-speak) was too low. Didn't matter. Still had a great time.

I have, since I got into Glumbert, been completely consistent about my position on the war. As more comes to light, you guys have to change what you believe about our going to war.
If GWB and Cheney lied, then the conspiracy to go into Iraq is globally deep involving France, Germany, Great Britain and others. (The stance by the Admin since 2003 has not changed, even if the emphasis has.)
If they were wrong, then moral outrage can be forgiven, because the entire world and the UN believed without doubt that Saddam either had WMDs or was trying to buil/rebuild them...chem and nukes.

Suppose that the internal knowledge was actually correct in that Saddam had no real weapons and the UN data was correct (and it was), and that the IAEA was correct (and it was), and the satellite data was correct (and it was), etc. What if the Bush administration actually had this data, and for some reason dismissed it. In lieu of what information that was contradictory? I suppose there was INC, but they should have been under great suspicion.
