Hopefully that does not make me a bigot in anyone's eyes. There have been times I've heard street talk and not had the vaguest idea of what was being said. Like, is it me? Am I out of the mainstream?
But that pseudo language will never be "mainstream"...still, it may easily persist as a vernacular distortion of common speech, I think.
For those who need to set themselves apart, this is one way to do it. Don't like that idea, but it is happening more and more often.

i read a statistic a while back that claimed apx 85% of rap music is actually bought by white teenagers, produced and distributed by white owned corporations and performed by people who are about as close to the hood as dick cheney.
