That's the first time i've ever had a three year old tell me they just drew a turtle and be able to see the damn thing. I guess he hasn't studied the surrealist yet.
lol, it's obvious that this is fake, cos u never see the boy, when he is painting... you just see his face, clip, and someone painting... and btw the hand that paints looks exactly the same all the time
tho, in the end, you don't get a clear view on what he is painting, and when you doo see what he is painting, it's like those big fields, where there's only supposed to be blue color, not even a three year old kid could mess that up... fake it is
It's not really exploiting the kid, it's tricking people that will believe anything they think they see. I doubt the kid was harmed in pretending to paint a picture.
When he holds up the final image, you see whole paper is glossy (including the colored areas) giving an appearance of a color print . Fingerpaints tend to be quite thick when dried, making the whole paper crusty enough not to fold like that.
Hey, I went to the turtlekid.com site and found other "commercials" for the TMNT toys and gear. It really doesn't matter if it's 'fake' or not...it's just entertaining and fun to watch. No harm no foul!
C'MON! it's all in close-ups. the parts where you do see him paint are the parts that he can't mess up. like filling in the green and blues. All the detailed stuff was shown at close-up the he little hand can easily be manipulated.
I'm a graphic arts illustrator, and could see this is real. Why? Look at the little hand (right) and you will see it is a pudgy child's hand. This child is amazing and I would want to take lessons from him. There is such a thing as "Child Prodigy" and this is one! Its amazing!
This is real. The hands in the close ups are the same as the kids.
Stop saying this is fake just because you can't do it. You say it's fake to make yourself look cool and to make yourself feel good about yourself because you lack the talent to do so.
