Thats a poll by a right wing think tank, about how people FEEL, not about the reality of the situation which shows that violent crime and gun crimes are way down compared to American numbers. There was not a single citing of that 3 year old article showing an increase in anything but fear.

Do you understand the basic premise of why your country MUST allow large numbers of immigrants to flood in?

It's the same in this country- someone must replace the aging baby boomers in the workforce in order for our countries to continue the social programs we have in place. Those taxes have got to come from somewhere.

Everyone thinks the immigrants coming to their country are "no good" and sucking up the social tax dollars but I'd be willing to bet most of them are FAR more ambitious than your average citizen, you just don't see it.

The legitimate immigrants coming into the US make the average American look like a lazy piece of shit. (Myself included. I admit it. I've had life too easy for too long and I take way too much shit for granted.) Immigrants come here, see the opportunities available to them and take them, all while the rest of us bitch and complain that the government isn't doing enough for us. It pains me to say it, but it's the truth..............

A big part of the problem is where the immigrants are coming from. The vast majority are Pakistani, Indian, Chinese, etc. The way the rules are set up, it's almost impossible to qualify if you are European. It's not the numbers of immigrants that are the problem, it's the balance.

Canadaman, last night I went to my shop (the barn) to get a planner for today's work, I have to unlock three doors to get into my shop area, upon opening the first I was confronted by an aggressive as all hell, rabid or distemper infected raccoon, this big guy wanted it's teeth in me in the worst way (zombie coon?). Fortunately for me I was, legaly as usual, carrying Kimber, that is a .45 personal carry custom defense pistol. Now normally I'd just back off and get the f outta there, but this time was different, the foamy mouth, the extremely aggressive posturing, no this guy's end was here and two pops later he was out of his misery! My ears are still ringing and I have to get out the bleach and spray eveything down, but no bites or rabies shots for me, or anyone else that may have encountered this poor guy! Like I've said before, just another tool in the belt!

If the FairTax proposal ever becomes law we won't have to worry about these shitbags not paying taxes. Every cent they (and anyone else) spend in this country would effectively be taxed. Weiner the problem is many fold .
Health care which is free is being used by our new immigrants mothers fathers and family members that are not immigrants.
ESL is bringing down our education system and they can't drive so our insurance rates are up in Toronto.
I can go on but I won't .
