Dude... he's obviously using a rifle. Doesn't it have sights? I hope he falls off his platform next time and shoots himself by accident. I can't belive that deer didn't bolt after the first shot.
well nobody would see the joy in the sport unless you have done it, then you will see what all of the JOY IS ABOUT! This guy needs to just turn in his guns and go back to doing what he was doing before, jerkin his gerkin!!...LOL He can't hit the broad side of a barn evidently, so If I was that bad, I would just give up!! Forget the whole hunting thing and sell all of my guns, what a dumb ass!! That is Halarious!!!!
Tree stand or field stand hunting is f***ing stupid. There is no sport in this. Get out of your stand and walk/hike and then you might be able to call in sport.... and then youll find the joy. The joy isnt in killing reddwarf16, its in the hunt.
As for this guy shooting, your an idiot. Chances are if he cant hit it from that distance.... when he does accidentally hit it, he'll probably wound it and the damn thing is going run off to die a few hours from the shot. IDIOT
Even if his sights were off he should have been able to adjust fire after the first shot. He shot three times for christ sake. Let's just hope he is not in our nation's military.
Beginners tend to rest their gun on anything available (even when you tell them not to), the slight recoil of a small calibre round will make it jump. He was aiming just behind the front leg, 1/3 up the body. The distance was quite far (time difference between powder smoke and ricochet dirt - 1/4 second approx. 200 meters), a slight difference in angle-of-aim could easily result in missing "the broad-side of a barn." The sound of the shell hitting the floor was big enough to be a 30 cal. which has a good sized kick. More "beginner" info: He should have had a pad to stop them from "clinking."
You think that's crazy? When we bow-hunt, we put something similar to a silencer on the bow string because animals can hear the "twang" of the string as it is release, AND they can move off-target before the arrow hits them.
Deer are "dumb" because they have no means of learning what a gun is, or what it does. They simply associate noise with danger (instinct). If it's rutting season, the buck will stick around longer, looking to kick someone's a$$ for scaring away the doe that was making the "I need some lovin'" call.
The "dumb" ones in this case are the humans who do not know that animals do not grow up with guns.
