And then glumbert realizes that this video is just a regurgitation of the Web 2.0 video it featured a few months back made by the same exact person that made this, and it's wasting it's bandwidth so everyone can watch a piece of shit over again.
I enjoyed this video, my only concern is how much is true stuff on the internet and how much is bullshit. The internet does allow people to print unregulated stuff, but there again what is documented truth, whatever is written just someones view point....getting a bit heavy and it's still early.
any thoughts, constructive ones, or just slay me and tell me the truth, i can't handle the truth right? i'm starting to answer my own questions , it's time for work
Hence we can roll back to scriptures of that from the bible, or prophecies of ancient egyptians, texts off early inventors and creators, media outlets such as television and newspapers... information has and always will be someones viewpoint. Two quote i always refer back to when new information is about is "You should only believe half of what you see, and none of which you hear", and "Never believe in anything until it has been officially denied", which usually streams off politics, ha.
Adolf whenever i read your postings it is like getting into a German car, you can guarantee that the speedo and electric mirrors still works , even if it is made pre 1990
as for burning books, this is silly as the people had already read them
As usual, your ice cold Scandinavian logic has defeated me! However, ze broader kvestion of ze power of ze vorld vide veb remains to be addressed.
Venever ze CIA organised ein coup d'etat in some banana republic, zey told zere minions to first capture ze radio station und newspaper offices. But ze internet means zat zey haf no control over ze spread of information. Zis must be kvite annoying for ze fuhrer Bush. Zat can only be ein good sing, nicht wahr?
Und if I vont to order armadillo feed or order ein Mexican call girl, I do not haf to look up ze telephone directory, vich is even better!
On a limb here, I don't understand any of this, well actually I understand (deeply) all of this, but on a human level.....it's hard to relate to a machine.........alrighty then.....I'll add my two cents (although that's really worth a lot more if I go to the states right now).....okay, now that no one is listening.........I am very old school and worked with DOS at work!...I have seen every transition, step, leap, jump and catapult........each step was hard for me......not easier, mr. gates! Jumping to 2007 now.....My idiotic escapades on glumbert have increased my life experience 10fold......I have never felt more freedom than I do now.............should I have that freedom....I dunno....I don't paint as much as I used too...I don''t get bored like I used too....I think more than I used too......my bathtub gets dirtier than it used too.....I talk and play with my daughter as much as I used too.....I work the same like I used too........I have a brain like I never thought I used too........I normally don't like people, but I suffer now like I never used too.......cuz, people are people and why should it be....you and I should get along so awfully.....ha,ha,ha. Anywho, I am unable to comprehend (ya I know I spelled it wrong) the Internet, Glumbert, unlimited access to all the information I require....They say the internet isolates us....I disagree.....you lot know me more than anyone in my life has ever known me....including myself.
You have aged yourself by by being at work with DOS. Damn when I was in junior high Apple was cool and new technology. DOS didn't come too far after that.
Yep, this whole internet thing, is kind of like a chaotic order, something in close proximity to the state of my work-station at the moment. Digital Information at our fingertips at the click of a few keystrokes, learn what you want without being hassled by a library employee, and no due-date for the return of any borrowed books. But i'd rather be curled up reading a book than sitting in front of a blaring monitor anyday. Currently reading "The High House" by James Stottard, highly recommend it if your'e into high fantasy easy reading novels; Lord Of The Rings, Harry Potter, etc..
Riza....interesting post...flow of consciousness thing. The fun part was I actually felt your meanings as I read your words because it was so free-form.
We are lucky to be alive at this time when leaps in technology seem almost routine, and we begin to think that almost nothing is impossible. So many new developments...seems like we are moving so fast. One of the Glumbert items not long ago noted that, after graduation, today's college freshman had a high probability of taking a job that doesn't even exist now...talk about how quickly things change.
Thanks for your posting....a refreshing sort of contribution. OK, now where do I send my three cents (American) to pay for your two cents (Canadian) worth of thought? (proof that not all recent changes are improvements).
Riza...I wonder if you've seen the Glumbert video "shift happens"...which you can search for by name. If you have, you know why it occured to me just now...if not, check it out...it is really a propos to this current video.
I had to spend many years in isolation so zat I vould not be recognised until mein moustache faded, but now I am enjoying ze golden years.
I am ein member of ze Buenos Aires Tea Dance Club, vere I meet many kvite interesting vidows und retired vor criminals.
Also, I am ein founder member und secretary of ze Argentina Armadillo Breeders' Society - anozzer opportunity to meet vealthy ladies of ein certain age. Mein vife-to-be Conchita is only 23, but she too enjoys our meetings, vere she occasionally performs ein tasteful reptile-based dance for ze members. Zey seem to enjoy her antics, und say her gyrations "make zem feel alive again", votever zat may mean.
Zere is life beyond Glumbert! For ze ladies zere is basket veaving, crochet, needlepoint und vater aerobics, und for ze men ve haf dvarf tossing, speed masturbation competitions, fire valking und indoor skiing.
Ja, ze vorld is ein vonderful place if ve do not veaken!
You should teach zee future Frau Vanka zee Peruvian prostitute python pirouette. Zis is indeed eine erotic dance. But reemeber to unwrap zee python before pouncing upon zee pussy or you vill be 'doing ze Brady Barr" az zey say in National Geographic
Acquire knowledge, then think, then come to your own conclusions =common sense!........No brainer, unless you have no brain, then either sell cars or go into politics!
The media has massive power, but there is now the undercurrent of the internet where the truth is starting to surface, the internet has a growing power !
Rizamoon i do believe you learn about yourself on the internet
Adolf ,your post made me laugh out loud, this is unusal for me, i usually only laugh out loud when i hoover the inside of my car
