Yet another good example of the completely un-curious crap factory of Hollywood.
It is obvious that Oscar gold is rewarded by re-shooting that car chase with the explosion, with the same hackneyed overpaid actor at the wheel, who only has the job because he was brought forth out of another actors womb.
Its hard to say which institution produces more bullsh*t, Hollywood or Washington.
See I thought maybe Pod was referring to the remake of "Gone in 60 seconds", starring Nicolas Cage. I did like Forrest Gump, so maybe the remake will be good.
I agree Hollywood is devoid of new ideas. Hopefully Washington still has a few new ones.
Stream - Nope, didn't see it. I have been watching old movies lately, very old movies, like Double Indemnity, and The Maltese Falcon. ...and the last of the Dead movies by Romero. Now that's eclectic.
HD - I thought FG was well made but, but that guy was the biggest sucker in the world. Just ask what women think of that movie, and you will be 90 degrees apart on it, just like the rest of us. The only character I liked was Lt Dan.
Absolutely! Forrest was a sucker, and stupid. Yet he always came out on top, he always excelled at anything he did. Maybe that was the point? You don't have to be friggin gifted to suceed? Or maybe life is more about fate than planning and hard work? I just loved how all the historical movie clips and historical fads got worked into Forrests life. I found it amusing.
"Sorry I spoiled your black panther party." That was funny!
