What...you mean the "Red Wings" I'll see get slaughtered and MASSACRED IN PERSON next Friday night?
You mean THOSE Red Wings??????
The first Red Wing body that comes flying across the boards, because of a solid Leaf cross-check, I'll elbow him in the gut on his fly-by, and say "Tell UDB ......SORRY ABOUT THAT!!!"...
You just set me up for another classic movie quote/critique:
I say "Eh Boss.....'Oo own da Chiefs? 'Ee say OWN-ZUH! OWWWN-ZUH!!"
--------from "Slapshot", starring Paul Newman and Strother Martin (among others); a truly great film about a tuly great Canadian past-time! A classic comedy, to be sure.
And why the fuck isn't "The Godfather" on that list??? Or "Alien"??? Or "Apocalypse Now"?? Or "Casablanca"?? Or "Citizen Kane"??? Or "Psycho" or "The Birds"??? Or even "Wizard Of Oz"?????
Your talking to a guy who loves Ed Wood movies! So Starship Trooper ain't a stretch! The list sucks and the reason why is apparent!
The owner of the original, down below me Is choking on something.....Squirrel knows what...And I don't want to try guessing at what it is!!EEWWWWWWwww!!
Make a new list! everyone chimes in with one or two, and I start with...........Fuck I hate to agree with that little Turd scrambletrouser.
Tombstone Was a great movie! now I'm talking dated, recent and not aged as say Gunga din. So now you would have to say top ten all time or top ten in the last twenty years? If the former then my answer is .............Dam so many classics ! I will get bck to ya on that! LOL
LOLLOLOL!! I almost forgot ... The crying game. too wong foo, the crying game vs broke back mountain, 10 things I hate about you,Madonna's truth or dare and where the girls arn't!!
1. The Old Useddouchebag aka "Tha Old Dirty UDB"
To anwser your question.. Those are movies no matter what's going on, i can sit down and watch with out moving.. And "Life" starring Eddie Murphy and Martin (insane in the brain) Lawrence those to are my fav comedians of all time inculding "pryor" and others..
2. Canuck aka "Tha enforcer from the north" aka "Serpico" aka Canadian version of "John Wayne"..
And to answer your question.... "And why the fuck isn't "The Godfather" on that list??? Or "Alien"??? Or "Apocalypse Now"?? Or "Casablanca"?? Or "Citizen Kane"??? Or "Psycho" or "The Birds"??? Or even "Wizard Of Oz"????? "
Now i have a probelm with Godfather... I wasnt born when that movie was released can't really stand a movie with subtitles through most of the picture.. Great Movie.. but i would put that movie with Kevin Costner in it before that one. The movie i'm talking about, he was playing a FBI agent in that one where he played J Edgar Hoover, i believe, cant think of it right now, in sort of a rush...
Alien was a goood movie but no Halloween.. The way i felt when first watching halloween..I didnt sleep good for a week..because it seemed that somthing like that could actually happen..in alien i never felt in danger while wathing that movie, a little sick in the stomach but not scared... Keep in mind i was only 6 years old at the time... but no other horror film has scared me as much..Halloween..Plus i watched with my babysitter..(remembering sexy babysitter) drooooolll..my bad.
Tell wifey, that old box of popcorn trick is getting old...Tell her to spice it up.
Now, you like Tombstone....man Doc Holiday was a beast.. Still ready to defend and gamble and womanize while suffering from ulcers and Grade A Gonerrhaa (spelling)... Best western in my generation... Circa 1978...
You little fluffer, otherwise known as peckerwood !! Tombstone is a great movie yet so is the unforgiven and the out law josey wales!!

P.S Move out of your parents house their starting to think you have turned the corner!!
Randal, I see you have a new (or old) fan chasing you about. Word of advice, if you take off that edible underwear your lady got for you, he'll probably lose interest.
I would also add Groundhog Day to the list. Don't we all wish we could get stuck for a while in one day, to accomplish a leap into redemption?
I would also add these odd ones that had points to make:
The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. (Odd but, strangely very entertaining) 2001: A Space Odyssey (for having only two physical science errors) Omega Man (I liked how quiet it was, and might just happen one day.) Planet of the Apes (Funny, stupid, and ...) Soylent Green (Funny, stupid, and ...)
Actually, since we're on the topics of "entertainment" stuff, I came acros some rather interesting trivia of some clelbrities going somes WAYS back; stuff that kinda surprised me!:
1. Anyone remember that comedy series "Rowan and Martins Laugh-In"? Well, one of those guys, Dan Rowan, was a P-40 Tomahawk fighter pilot during WWII; he was shot down, and seriously wounded over New Guinea; He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross with Oak Leaf Cluster, the Air Medal, and the Purple Heart. Like....WOW!!
2. Remember Maxwell Smart, Agent 86, from "Get Smart"? Well, this guy served with the United States Marine Corps during World War II in the Pacific Theater. He was wounded during the Battle of Guadalcanal and he contracted malaria, nearly dying of blackwater fever. Upon his recovery and return to the States, he served as a drill instructor. Jeeez!!!! Missed it......BY THAT MUCH!!
3. Remember Rod Serling, from "The Twilight Zone"? Well, he served as a U.S. Army paratrooper and demolition specialist with the 511th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 11th Airborne Division in the Pacific Theater in World War II from January 1943 to January 1945. He was seriously wounded in the wrist and knee during combat and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. WAY TO GO ROD!!!
4. Remember Dennis Franz, who played Det. Norm Buntz on "Hill Street Blues"? Well, HE was drafted into the United States Army. He served eleven months in an airborne division in Vietnam. Yikes!!
5. Remember good ol' Ed McMahon, from "The Tonight Show", with Johnny Carson? Well, during WWII, he was trained as a United States Marines fighter pilot and also served as a flight instructor and test pilot. He was discharged in 1946, remaining in the reserves. After college, McMahon was re-activated into active Marine duty. He was sent to Korea in February, 1953. He flew unarmed O-1E Bird Dogs on 85 tactical air control and artillery spotting missions. He remained in the Marine reserves, retiring with the rank of Colonel in 1966 and was then commissioned as a Brigadier General in the California Air National Guard. Heeeerrrrrrres Johnny!!! LOL!!
6. Remember Larry Wilcox, who played Officer Jon Baker, in the cop show "CHiPS"? Well, in 1967, when he was about to be drafted, he joined the Marine Corps and spent 13 months in Vietnam as an artilleryman. He reached the rank of Sergeant before he was discharged in 1970. Eat THAT, Erik Estrada!! LOL!!
7. Remember James Arness, who played Marshal Matt Dillon, on "Gunsmoke"? Well, he served in the United States Army during World War II, and was severely wounded at the Battle of Anzio, leading to a lifelong slight limp. His military awards and medals are as follows: Bronze Star; Purple Heart; Good Conduct; American Campaign; European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign with three bronze star devices; Amphibious arrowhead; World War II Victory Medal; and Combat Infantryman's Badge (CIB). Dammit, Marshal Dillon...you DA MAN!!
8. James (Jimmy) Stewart....does this man REALLY need an introduction? He flew combat missions over Germany during WWII, with the Army Air Corps; While flying missions over Germany, Stewart was promoted to Major. In March 1944, he was transferred as Group Operations Officer to the 453rd Bombardment Group, a new B-24 outfit that had been experiencing difficulties. In 1944, he twice received the Distinguished Flying Cross for actions in combat and was awarded the Croix de Guerre. He also received the Air Medal with three oak leaf clusters. In July 1944, after flying 20 combat missions, Stewart was made Chief of Staff of the 2nd Combat Bombardment Wing of the Eighth Air Force. Before the war ended, he was promoted to Colonel, one of only a few Americans to rise from private to colonel in four years. Talk about a "Wonderful Life"....sheesh!!!
9. Clark Gable joined the U.S. Army Air Forces. As a Captain, he trained with and accompanied the 351st Heavy Bomb Group as head of a 6-man motion picture unit making a gunnery training film. While at RAF Polebrook, England, Gable flew five combat missions, including one to Germany, as an observer-gunner in B-17 Flying Fortresses between May 4 and September 23, 1943, earning the Air Medal and the Distinguished Flying Cross for his efforts. Adolf Hitler esteemed Gable above all other actors, and during the Second World War, offered a sizable reward to anyone who could capture and bring Gable unscathed to him. He left the Army Air Forces with the rank of major.
Anyways, those are just a FEW STARTLING facts I've learned about some of these "left-wing" Hollywood liberal types. LOL!! As for Ronnie Reagan, John Wayne, Gary Cooper and a lot of the other MUCHO-MACHO types who usually played war heroes on film and voted Republican....well, they took a pass on the REAL thing.
Star Wars. Empire Strikes Back. Return of the Jedi. Classics! and then the shit came out. 'Course, there ain't no way that could compare with James Tiberius Kirk!
Do Choose the one that made me laugh the most? The one that stirred the most debate? The one that made me the most disgusted? Hmmmmm....so simple....yet so complex.......
It's a tie between "Leave Britney Alooooone" and "News Anchors Laughing At A Falling Model", for laughs.
In terms of creating the most riveting debate....."How To Make An Angry American".
When you mention "The Thing"....are you talking about the remake, with Kurt Russell? Or the original 1956 version, with Kenneth Tobey and James Arness? Or are you talking about Throbdipshitstick? Three versions of "The Thing".....
THAT STUPID FUCKING ASSHOLE TALKS FAST WASTE OF FUCKING TIME JEEEEZUZ AND BY THE WAY PC IS FAR MORE SUPERIOR THAN ANY GOD DAMN FUCKING WASTE SHOT USELESS CONSOLE YA IT MAY COST IT A BIT MORE BUT START WORKING OVERTIME BITCHES AND YEA
Ace- the cap lock thing used to bug me but now I've realized that it just makes it easier to find your wacky comments on fast scroll. See, there must be some method to your madness.
I've noticed how utterly pointless and annoying all your posts are.
in all the forums I've been in and comments I've seen, this is almost myspace worthy troll trash thats not even insightful or interesting enough for me to bother to read anymore.
L2conversation nubs
useddouchebag, I don't know what to say, but your (damn, what's another word for patience, since I can't spell it) tenacity and imagination are to be admired and appreciated.....damn, now the song is stuck in my head again.
We're no strangers to love
You know the rules and so do I
A full commitment's what I'm thinking of
You wouldn't get this from any other guy
I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling
Gotta make you understand
Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry, never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
We've known each other for so long
Your heart's been aching but you're too shy to say it
Inside we both know what's been going on
We know the game and we're gonna play it
And if you ask me how I'm feeling
Don't tell me you're too blind to see
Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry, never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry, never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
(Ooh give you up)
(Ooh give you up)
(Ooh) never gonna give, never gonna give (give you up)
(Ooh) never gonna give, never gonna give (give you up)
We've known each other for so long
Your heart's been aching but you're too shy to say it
Inside we both know what's been going on
We know the game and we're gonna play it
I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling
Gotta make you understand
Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry, never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you

I couldn't even tell you which CD is the best as all his stuff kicks ass. Most bands you get ripped off when they have 1 or 2 good songs on it, whereas he may have 1 or 2 mediocre songs
I can't even be cute on this one, I totally agree with you, so many cd's or albums or tapes or ipods or pirating or theft or etc.....white zombie produced a compilation (is that a word) that fully satisfied my expectations........now my brain hurts.....give me back my brown hair please.
Podman, how can u forget the orginal Friday the 13th??? The mother was doing all the slashing then.. Hopeless teenagers wonder the forest, just get slashed..Classic..
I've seen those movies... They're pretty good, even the one in black in white.. Have you those phantasm movies? The guy walks around with that silver ball that drills holes in people's heads.. Good series movies right there...
I saw one of those. It was kinda good because I never really knew what was going on. I think the slasher motif is a little worn out now, and they are having trouble finding something to replace it, and hence we have all the sequels and remakes. I tend to like the films that go in a whole new direction, which is why I liked The Ring. It was really odd, and cool at the same time.
Have have you guys seen a movie called "Black Christmas"? It was made in 1974, and subsequently re-made two years ago (it was shit, like most re-makes). The original was a Canadian horror flick, that was filmed in Toronto, and is largely given credit to starting the whole slasher-flick genre, because it predates the original "Halloween" by four years. Ironically enough, it was directed by Bob Clark, who made "A Christmas Story" (with Darren McGavin), as well as "Porkys" (which was hilarious).
I even loved the catch-phrase for "Black Christmas" when it came out:
"If this movie dosen't make your skin crawl.....then it's on too tight." LOL!
Anyways, if you haven't seen this movie and love horror movies, I strongly urge you guys to give it a peek. It's a real nail-biter.
Nope never saw that one. Did you ever see "It's Alive", with the killer babies? I think it also came out about that time. It was funny and grotesque at the same time, like presidential libraries or memoirs.
Ok, i see have some horror flick watchers in here... I've never seen Black Christmas, but saw the remake and it's gory but not scary.. there's a diffrence.. Seen the chud moive it's an alright flick... About the residence evil flicks gory, but i've been more scared playing the game in the dark... I've never seen the orignal Hills have eyes or any of the Alive movies... I'll get around to it one day...
