These people are assholes. That cat has no idea what's going on and clearly thinks it's drowning. These lazy cunts are paying some pompous pet spa some ungodly sum of money to basically waterboard their cat because they're too goddamn lazy to clean it themselves. There's nothing wrong with the machine. You see the great big red button labeled "E-Stop"? That's the button that the owner or operator is supposed to press if the animal shows any sign of distress. So what you have here is cruel people, not a cruel machine.
