They don't believe anyone should "own" an animal (pet), so they take them from shelters and kill them! (to save them from being "abused" by humans).
They also sponsor domestic terrorism and are about as misguided as a group can get! They are in bed with HSUS (Humane society of the United States) which has absolutely no affiliation with ANY humane society, or even run a humane society!
They do NO humane animal work of any kind, they are strictly an anti hunting, anti gun, anti freedom, anti rights, anti American way of life, wacko group of vegan/vegetarian misfits!
Neither group donates or raises even ONE DOLLAR for habitat preservation, or care for any animals. I could go on an on about these worthless pieces of humanity but fortunately......
Yeah I mean some of the principles behind PETA are inherently flawed....but honestly I can't imagine having my dog or any pet being treated badly. It's one thing if you hunt a deer and eat it, or slaughter a cow or a chicken. But it's another if you put dogs and other lovable pets in tiny cages and beat them to death like Michael Vick did.
