R - Not the knees, but my back, and my legs are very sore. My first laminate floor, and so far it looks great. I think I will wait to recover before doing the trim.
Sorry bout your team, and I'm supposed to be a Sox fan, but for years now I have not had the time to put into anything as a fan. I don't even get Steelers games anymore now that the Pats are sold out. So I just gave up on that as well.
R - Yes the results are worth the pain, and also there is the fact that the job is now done correctly.
I had to replace all of my copper pipe in the spring because the builder used the cheap stuff. I had to jack the house because the builder did not use double joists under the load points, and I had to put in insulation where it was left out entirely on external walls, etc. Now you know why I rant about cheap construction.
miter - I have been cutting since I was 14, and I have to say I love doing it. Never get too tired with the cutting though, Its the hauling splitting, stacking that is the real killer.
Chaz- I'm kinda a follower of the Pats, and I watch a game here and there. I consider them my alternate team after the Steelers. So I have had a lot of good fan years!
....sorry folks....managed to hit the "post" button before finishing, or editing, the thoughts above. Dancing fingers, I guess. The "numb foolishness" comment referred to the baloon deal....talk about empty-headedness.
The rest referred to Podster and New England team sports...the latter providing rare moments of joy....HAH !
Someone should set this one up, similar situation, however, no balloons and an individual blindfolded in the middle......can I volunteer....I think it would be a rush.
