this is no illusion...it is was it is...its simple...the room is much smaller closer to camera and bigger towards the back....and you could clearly see they walk up and down stairs when they move forward and backward.
it think its more of a slope because when one walks towards the window his heel is slanted uphigher than the position of his toes and when one walks away from the window vice versa
actually it is very much an illusion ... birdman is correct it is a slope .. everything is in there like the scale, quaker oats guy to give perspective to the room ... everything in the back is actually huge, so it makes the man look smaller, the squares on the floor get much wider and the boxes in the front are actually normal sized to bring the people back to original size (perception wise) ... comon people have you never been a childrens museum??
I have been in one of those rooms before, but i never actually saw it like THIS. the room is slanted (sp) ..sloped. its kinda hard to walk in.. lol, well for me it is. the Quacker Oats guy, I have no answer to. heh.
